Truthfully this Shabbos is not simple at all. This Shabbos of Parshas Shmini is very special in that we read this Parsha eight times! The first time was Shabbos Mincha on Shabbos Hagadol and the eighth time this Shabbos. The Shinover Rebbe Rabbi Yechezkel Shraga Halberstam [1815-1899] (the eldest son of the Divrei Chaim of Sanz) explained this phenomena using a play on words שמיני שמונה שמינהwhich means (when we read the Parsha of) Shmini- eight (times) then the year will be) rich! This comment is rooted in the number eight which represents infinity. Hence the lesson is, we must be vigilant to extend the freedom of Pesach for the entire year and we will surely be blessed with a year of richness in all things material and spiritual. May we all merit to enjoy these blessings! A heartfelt thank you to our dear friends and family who were so incredibly helpful and supportive

during the difficult time of Marvin's illness and passing. To those of you who went above and beyond with providing meals, generous donations, continuous visits and calls, and especially the dedication of a set of Shas in Marvin's memory, we are forever grateful. Your tremendous outpouring of love and kindness is appreciated and will always be remembered. May we only share Smachot together in the best of health and happiness.
