To connect your Skoog, tap the button on the base of the Skoog to turn on and advertise via BT. In the Skoog App select the connect Skoog icon select your Skoog device. If the device does not appear on the list, check the Skoog is advertising (flashing blue BT symbol on Skoog device).

You should calibrate your Skoog each time you connect. Place the Skoog on a flat level surface and tap the calibrate button on the sensitivity menu. Your Skoog is now calibrated*It is important that you do not press the Skoog while it is calibrating* You can adjust the sensitivity of your Skoog device using the sensitivity settings on the App. Use the global sensitivity or select individual control to adjust sides independently.

Choose an instrument sound.

Choose from a range of different scales, using note settings on the App.

Or to play along with a tune in your iTunes library, simply use the select music function in the App. Choose a song, and the App will automatically tune (choose the right notes/scale) for your Skoog.

A pop up backing track player will appear where you can play/pause, advance to next track and select pitch bend on/off (squidging between sides) and you can enable/disable the auto-tune function.

MIDI

To access MIDI and use the Skoog with GarageBand, select the MIDI function.

Enable send virtual MIDI, NoteOn/NoteOff. You can enable other MIDI data as well. Then open GarageBand and your Skoog should play your GarageBand instruments. Notes/scales are still selected via the Skoog App. So you can use the auto-tune backing track function to jam along with your songs in iTunes using the GarageBand instrument sounds!
