Claims and Objections ProcessAfter Verification and Correction gets completed, the draft list

will be published in three prominent place

1. Gram Panchayats

2. A prominent place in Panchayat,

3. BDO office

A Circular for revised period for completing claims and objections was to be minimum of 45 days and maximum of 82 days from the day of publication of the draft list, has been issued on 30 July 2013 to meet the requirements of National Food Security Act (NFSA).

In actual practice in some States the range of time lines were of different ranges from 45 to 60 days, even some State has crossed beyond 82 days.

• Maharashtra: Eight districts have exceeded the COTS timelines beyond 82 days.

• (Parbhani, Aurangabad, Jalgaon, Ahamad Nagar, Hingoli, Latur, Osmanabad and Washim)

• Himachal Pradesh: Three districts have exceeded the COTS timelines beyond 82 days.

• (Lahul & Spiti, Kinnaur, Sirmaur)

• Delhi: Need to publish their Draft List for all 9 districts

CPSU Issues

Shortage of Data Base Administrators (DBA) in mainly following states (Tripura, Odisha, Jharkhand, Maharashtra, Andhra Pradesh, Telangana and Tamilnadu) for entering claims in the field so that uploading of ‘F’ files are delaying.

Delaying in uploading Final List PDF files by CPSU’s in Bihar, Jharkhand, Uttar Pradesh, Andhra Pradesh, Telangana and Maharashtra.

State Suggestions for Update

For accessing SECC data all state nodal officers can be given to access of secc2011.nic.in through there id and password of secc monitoring site.

It may suggested that dynamic updation of secc data from field through Rozagar Sayak from MGNREGA can be used and NIC is requested to develop a web based solution for that.

As per cabinet note SECC data is valid for ten years (up to 2019). However each State/UT’s can update/revision of the list by every two years, refer to page 16 of said cabinet note.
