So much happened before Dorothy dropped in.
WICKED, the Broadway sensation, looks at what happened in the Land of Oz… but from a different angle. Long before Dorothy arrives, there is another young woman, born with emerald-green skin—smart, fiery, misunderstood, and possessing an extraordinary talent. When she meets a bubbly blonde who is exceptionally popular, their initial rivalry turns into the unlikeliest of friendships…until the world decides to call one “good,” and the other one “wicked.”

BROADWAY INMOTION is a series of exciting classes and workshops taught by seasoned Broadway professionals. Designed to enrich the theatrical experience, they are a great option for any group, from students to executives. We’ve designed programs for every level and interest. And if your group has a special focus in the theatre or just wants to see what goes on behind the scenes, we’ll custom build a workshop just for you.
MEET THE ARTIST: Some of Broadway’s most gifted actors, directors, choreographers, and more teach about the challenges of the business, share backstage anecdotes, and explore career choices.
THEATRE GAMES: In a playful and fun environment, participants are encouraged to explore spontaneity, impulse, freedom, imagination, and creativity, with acting exercises and games used in rehearsals.
BROADWAY REHEARSAL: Students get a true Broadway experience, rehearsing
vocals, choreography and staging with a Broadway performer and an accompanist.
ORCHESTRAL WORKSHOP: Student musicians have the opportunity to work with a Broadway conductor. SINGING AS ONE: Choir groups rehearse with a professional Broadway conductor, enabling them to delve deeper into the music they already know and experience new levels of musical interpretation.
Customization is the key to a special theatre workshop experience. Our BROADWAY INMOTION teachers will tailor a workshop to suit the needs of any group.
