SRPGA Unplayable Lie USGA Rule 28 One-stroke penalty. You have 3 options. A. Play a ball from where you last played (see 20-5). Drop as near as possible to the original spot. Tee box: In the teeing area, you may use a tee. Hazard: You must drop in the hazard. B. Drop a ball within 2 club lengths of where your ball lies no nearer the hole. C.
