On Saturday, November 1, at 8:00 a.m., we will celebrate All Saint’s Day & a special Memorial Mass at St. Ansgar for all those who have lost a loved one in the past year (from Nov. 2013 to Oct. 2014). If you have lost a spouse, parent, child, brother, sister, relative or friend and would like to participate in the candle-lighting ceremony during this liturgy, please notify the Parish Office (630-837-5553 x 100) by Wednesday, October 29. Tell us the name of the deceased and the name of the person who will come forward to receive the lighted candle when the deceased’s name is read aloud. It is a wonderful opportunity to show our unity as a parish family and be of comfort to those who have lost someone near and dear to them.

This year, All Saints Day is

celebrated on Saturday,

November 1. It is not a holy

day of obligation. The Mass on

Saturday at 8:00 a.m. will

celebrate the Feast of All

Saints.

Then support the Chastity Education Initiative, sponsored by the Respect Life Office of the Archdiocese of Chicago. This initiative has brought the wonder-ful message of chastity and respect for human life to more than 200,000 teens throughout the Archdiocese of Chicago and beyond in the past eleven years.

We need your help! Support the Initiative by coming to the annual “Education Minds, Inspiring Hearts” Benefit Dinner on Nov. 15, at Drury Lane, Oak Brook Terrace, Illinois. El Sábado 1 de noviembre a las 8:00 a.m. se celebrará una Misa en inglés, por el Día de Todos los Santos y para recordar a los fallecidos el año pasado (de Noviembre, 2013 a Octubre, 2014). Si usted sufrió la pérdida de algún familiar o amigo, y desea participar en la ceremonia de encendido de velas, la cual se realiza durante la liturgia de la Misa, por favor llame a la Oficina Parroquial (630-837-5553 x 100), antes del Miércoles 29 de Octubre. Díganos el nombre de la persona fallecida y el nombre de la persona que pasará al frente a recibir la vela encendida cuando el nombre del fallecido se lea en voz alta. Es una maravillosa oportunidad para unirse como familia parroquial y consolar a los que sufrieron la pérdida reciente de un ser querido.

Gracias por su generosa respuesta para la Sociedad de la Propagación de la Fe durante el Domingo Mundial de las Misiones.
