St. Francis of Assisi School News
Principal’s Corner Dr. Tricia Barber, Principal
The Friars and I enjoyed seeing many of our St. Francis School families at the annual
Parish Labor Day Picnic. Mark your calendar for our next event on Saturday, September 8,
Candy B-I-N-G-O and Potluck. Details may be found on the front page of the St. Francis
School website. Hope you will be able to join us!
On Wednesday, September 5th, Mrs. Gildersleeve, Saint John Paul the Great Catholic
High School Enrollment Management Director, will provide an information session for
middle school students. The presentation will include a panel of former St. Francis
students. The St. Francis School office has brochures available for interested parents.
Appreciation is extended to all of our parents who attended last week's Back to
School evenings. If you have further questions, please contact the school office for our
assistance.
The Catholic Virtue for the month of September is Respect/Responsibility. Respect
often determines what we refrain from doing and Responsibility determines what we
do. Students are encouraged to listen when others speak, greet everyone cheerfully by
name, and include classmates in activities.
"Finally, be strong in the Lord and in his mighty power." Ephesians 6:10
