World Marriage Day The Symbol illustrates
husband and wife as two
candle-like figures, re-
minding us that married
love calls us to help en-
lighten the world. The
couple is joined by a heart, focusing on
love as the power that fosters unity within
the couple and generates the capacity to
be life-giving and inspire others to fruit-
fulness and unity. The Theme for World
Marriage Day has been permanently
adopted as “Love One Another”. This
phrase is the commandment given by
Jesus in John 15:12. It speaks to us in a
simple but challenging way of how our
Father wishes us to live.
Loving one another is a daily decision.

Commissions’ Corner James 2:18
"You have faith and I have
works."
Show me your faith apart from
your works,
and I by my works will show you my
faith."
We are Faith in action by reaching out in
all the ways with kindness and mercy to-
wards those in need. Christian Service is
reaching out to those who are facing chal-
lenges in their lives. By touching the lives
of those in need, we show faith and hope
at a time of great despair for some.
When taking on the role of outreach
through Christian Service you see the
good deeds that are done with faith. Here
at St. Pio's we give our parishioners the
opportunity to be active in their rolls of
being Christ for others. People should
have the chance to see and hear the good
news of Jesus Christ through all of the
outreach programs of St Pio.
We believe that it is our Baptismal call to
take on the task of caring for others in our
community.

PRAYER FOR LIFE
Heavenly Father, thank you for the precious gift of life. Help us to cherish and protect this gift, even in the midst of fear, pain, and suffering. Give us love for all people, especially the most vulnerable, and help us bear witness to the truth that every life is worth living. Grant us the humility to accept help when we are in need, and teach us to be merciful to all. Through our words and actions, may others encounter the outstretched hands of Your mercy. We ask this through Christ, our Lord. Amen.
