Streetsboro City Schools, and citizens living within the
Streetsboro city limits. Only $25.00 for a lifetime
membership and an 80% portion of the dues money
goes to support our student scholarships.
Alumni Association Hall ofFame Recipient 2018 Glenn R.Marsh Sr. Passes Away
Glenn Roy Marsh, age 91 of Hudson,
OH, on W ednesday, October 3, 2018.
He served as the Treasurer of the
Streetsboro Alumni Association for
many years until 2008. He served in many capacities
during his lifetime. Streetsboro constable for 15 years
and first police chief of Streetsboro, resigned when
moved to Aurora and sold Marsh’s Trailer Court. A
special deputy for Portage County Sheriff.
He was a charter member and Past President of
Northwest Lodge 68 Fraternal Order of Police
Associates. A member of the Dustman Deputies of
Portage County from its inception.
He was Past Commander for Lee Bishop Post 464.
Served more than 20 years as Commander and
brought Post to an “all time” high in membership for
several years and served as Summit County
Commander Post 464 gave him a lifetime
membership for his many years as Commander and
many awards won by the Post. He received
“Legionnaire of the Year Award” from the Post and
has been an active legionnaire for over 70 years as of
2017.

Streetsboro Alumni Association Scholarships
The Streetsboro Alumni Association will award two (or more)$250.00 scholarships to graduating seniors of theStreetsboro High School Class of 2019. There are two (2)criteria for the award of this scholarship and both conditionsmust be met:
1. At least one parent or legal guardian has to be alifetime member (alumni) or a lifetime associatemember (Streetsboro Schools employee or citizen ofStreetsboro) of the Streetsboro Alumni Association.
AND
2. The student applicant must graduate with his/her class.
The scholarship money can be used for any purpose. Oneapplicant will be selected at random for each scholarship.
Scholarship applications are due in the Streetsboro AlumniAssociation post office box by 3:00 p.m. on Wednesday,April 3, 2019. Please mail the Streetsboro AlumniAssociation Scholarship Application to:

The Class of 1969 will at the new KSU Hotel and Conference Center, 215 S Depeyster St. In Kent on Saturday evening,
July 13, 2019, from 5:30 p.m. until 11:00 p.m. Other activities are also planned for that weekend.
