Baptism - If you are thinking about preparing your child/children for Baptism please speak to Fr Gerry after Mass. Confirmation - Allysha, Ricardo, Leo and Aiden will be confirmed in Christ this Sunday. Please remember them in your prayers. RCIA - Please continue to pray for those considering this great commitment with Christ. Our RCIA will resume in September. National Grandparents Pilgrimage - Shrine Of Our Lady of Walsingham 22 July 2018 The Catholic Grandparents Association have organised this years pilgrimage and it will include a re-enactment by children and grandparents of the Walsingham story. This is a celebration to honour and thank St Joachim and St Anne and all grandparents dead or alive for althea have done down through the years, particularly in the transmission of the Faith.

Official Opening of Walsingham House at Abbotswick with Blessing of the new chapel - Saturday 1 September Mass will be celebrated by Bishop Alan at 12 noon. Come and enjoy what will be a beautiful day.

Finance1st Collection - 1st July 2018 - £508.11 Plus Standing Orders . Please be as generous as you can as we receive no other funding.

Today is Sea Sunday, when the Church prays for all those who live and work at sea. Without them we would not have most of the items we buy in the shops. Today’s second collection is for Apostleship of the Sea (AoS), the Church’s official maritime welfare agency. It supports seafarers both practically and spiritually. This collection is vital to enable it to continue its work, so please give generously and remember seafarers in your prayers.

The St John Bosco Children's Summer Camp at Aldham Essex. This is a activities camp with a Catholic ethos that runs as follows :- · Week One Saturday 21st July to 28th July 2018 for Boys · Week Two Saturday 28th July to 4th August 2018 for Boys · Week Three Saturday 4th August to 11th August 2018 for Girls It is for children aged 8 to 13 and costs £145 per week. St Thomas More are seeking 2 Cleaners. Working Monday to Friday 3.30pm to 5.30pm and the other 3.30pm to 6.30pm. Rate of Pay is £8.50 per hour. Experience of Cleaning in a School is not essential. Hospital Visits If you have a friend or relative in hospital who would like a visit from the Chaplaincy team please let Fr Gerry know.

Mass Offerings Mass can be offered for a number of reasons. You may wish to offer Mass for the Soul of a loved one; someone who is poorly; someone celebrating a special birthday or anniversary or for a concern close to your heart. If you would like a Mass offered please place your stipend in an envelope with details about who the Mass is for and give to Fr Gerry.
