Childhood

Steve grew up with a sister; Patty, born in 1950, and also adopted by Paul and Clara.

He was raised in the San Francisco bay area, and was surrounded by technology.

Steve and Stephen Wozniak (commonly known as Woz) became friends quickly, even though Woz was 5 years older.

He co-founded the company Apple®.
