Isaiah 55:1-11: To those who have experienced long years in

exile, the return to their homeland is a celebration of abundantlife. God calls them into an everlasting covenant of love. Thosewho return to the Lord will enjoy new life and forgiveness,

because Gods ways are not our ways.

John 4:6-15: Jesus defies convention to engage a Samaritanwoman in conversation. Her testimony, in turn leads many othersto faith. The focus of this conversation was the idea that Jesuscould offer the woman living watera symbol of abundant andeverlasting life.
