Explorer’s Class concludes its series on “Grace: What did it mean to John Wesley and how does it affect our faith journey?” this morning. The class will not meet on Christmas or New Year’s Sunday. Dr. Dale Bowen will begin a new series on Sunday, January 8, on the Traditions and Beliefs of Christianity. He will explore a range of cultural beliefs, sacred literatures and festivals in search of the answers to these age-old questions.

Adult Bible Study - This class will not meet on Dec. 25 or Jan. 1. During the month of January, the class will be finishing the Old Testament, discussing the return from the Exile. If you are interested or have any questions, contact Cathy Smoot at (480) 497-2948.

Contemporary Issues - Doris Gazda and Larry Lathom will be presenting a program in this Adult Sunday School Class this morning at 10:30 about the history of Christmas Music. They will perform and share their music as we learn about the beginnings of many familiar Christmas carols and tunes. We hope you will join us today to share in this special program. (The class will not meet on Dec. 25 or Jan. 1. We will resume

Singles at Dayspring -Singles, Etc. Lunches - Each Sunday after the second service, those who want to go out for lunch as a group meet at the restaurant listed below. If you attend first service, please join us! We gather around noon under the name “Dayspring”. December 18 - Coco’s - SW corner of Elliot and Hardy.

“Connections” is a Dayspring mission that advocates for the intrinsic worth of all persons, regardless of their sexual orientation. It offers support to and education about gay, lesbian, bisexual, and transgendered persons and their families. It also hosts the Tempe PFLAG group meeting each first Friday of the month. Our clergy can provide the names of “Connections” members for you to contact.

Brown Bag Lunch - Come join us for Brown Bag Lunch every Tuesday at 12:00 noon. Bring your own lunch and socialize with people from the church. We always have a good time! Come and be part of this fun group!
