sustainability is balance
DESCRIPTION
One of the crucial things to realise about a sustainable world is that it's all based upon balance. This is vastly different to the quasi-imperial way we live today. Take, for example, the way business is conducted. Often it is a natter of resources, human or otherwise, and how efficiently these are used. If a smaller business appears to be performing inefficiently a larger business will see it as its right to take it over and get more bang for those resources' buck. Culture operates in much the same results-driven way. If your culture does not produce money or wealth then those that do consider it inferior and have little problem in wiping it fro the face of the planet. Other highlights include: -- CSR challenges in the Balkans -- Africa can produce all the food she needs -- Should the US fund studies into gun violence? -- Shocking report into Niger's uranium minesTRANSCRIPT

Sustainability Review is a new generation electronic magazine which brings international news, views and resources on a weekly basis. Impatient with the slow pace of change the magazine isunafraid of being critical, yet it takes great pleasure in reporting real and substantial progress.

Further discussion of these sections can be found in What Is Sustainability?
