    CHAPTER 2

    About Sakeca

    A. Executive Summary

Establishing a business will always have some deliberation to be considered. In

the process of our company making, our company members have contemplated several

business ideas and how those ideas should be implemented. We think about what

products are we going to serve, which these specific ideas about a product need to fulfill

some criteria of our targeted market, some values added into the products, or even how

this idea is going to be feasible in the upcoming days. For all those reasons, our company

finally decided to sell food, as snack in specific with banana as our main ingredients.

Sakeca is a brand of a modern fried banana. Located in bandung, West Java. We

can loosely described as company who take banana in the next level. Sakeca will hold

true to its vision of being a new concept with classic and everyones favorite snack to

gather up, which is fried banana. We mix it with premium ingredients and toppings such

as oreo, cheese, greetea, milo, nut, masrsmellow, coffee, and chocolate and also we bake

it with love. By creating a new niche in fried banana industry, sakeca will increase sell

and price of fried banana by more that 200%. We had succeed to escalate the old school

of fried banana to the higer segment and price. During the execution days, everything ran well as what have been planned by us

previously. Generally, we were succeeding to sell our products in the most effective way

possible supported by great performance of our marketing team. After all, we were able

to surpass breakeven point, even reaching our two weeks optimistic target until on the

    last day.

Based on our experience during the two weeks of execution, we do believe that

our business is very feasible and have that prospect to be continued after this simulation

business project done. Sakeca.co will always try to improve its’ quality as a company by

learning from all the experiences that have been passed.

people favorite toppings. So it will become the greater good fried banana. Why we chose

fried banana, because we know that fried banana is the most authentic local food for

gather up family, close friend, and relation. We want our product to be one of the reason

of gathering together. We use sancrite because sancrite is used by a lot of ideology in

    Step of making :

    1. First step is to boil water, I’m just using a pot, but you could use a water boiler or microwave

top, so take 2 pitchers, and pour the tea from one to the other, with a bit of elevation. You could do this in a different way too, but it’s pretty fun!

    8. Take a cup and fill it all the way to the top with crushed ice 9. Gentry pour your hot tea mixture over the cup of ice 10. To give your Thai iced tea a final creamy touch, drizzle on some more

evaporated milk onto the top of your cup 11. Add a straw, and you’re ready to start slurping it down!

They said that the best product is pisang lumer with oreo topping. 3. Ways to Improve the Product At the trial and eror we found that pisang lumer can only be served best right after the banana are fried, after approximately 10 minutes after fried, the fried banana tend to be hard because it has already been cooler. W also found that the toppings are easily tend to be hard too, so we must heat it routinely. So in the next opportunity of selling, we have to served it after the banana are fried and heat the toppings routinely.

report to sum up the revenue, expenses and counting the profit.

    1. The making of financial budgeting

Gross budgeting each division collect them all evaluating, filtering

and prioritizing assembly it to be one

In the process of making financial budgeting, first we asked each divisions to

make their own gross budgeting, truly what their need. On the process when

all divisions making their gross budgeting, we make sure that they have to do

    survey first.

We must communicate well with all divisions, especially with the operational

divisions which oversee Piwsang’s products and who will get the biggest part

    of our capital.

After we have all gross budgeting from all divisions we evaluate them. We do

filtering based on the priority there. We also give some considerations of the

same quality stuffs with cheaper price. We try to make our financial budgeting

efficient and as close as the real needs in the preparation and the execution

    days later.

After that we assembly it all and we found that our expenditure is higher than

2 million and then we try to press again and cut some unneeded stuffs. Then

we found our Final Financial Budgeting is 2,000,000.

    2. Controlling the Cash Flow

We have make our financial plan trough the financial budgeting, so in the cash

flow activities we make sure that we obey our financial budgeting. And our

book keeper take the notes of cash in and out report done and collect all bills.

execution days Sakeca’s done. We have a staff with her own book as bookkeeper with

specific job to record all the cash flow to make sure all the out and in cash are

recorded. This thing was very helpful for us to keep the cash out same with the

budgeting and help the finance to make financial report.

Our financial activities are under our CEO’s supervised. In taking some policy we

asked the CEO first about his agreement. We also asked recommendation from

another staffs. 4. Coordination with other divisions

finance divisions, one as treasurer, one as bookkeeper, and one as budgeting and

collect dues. This jobs specification will help us focused and help another division

easily meet special person for special task.

If there is any crash or unpredictable events involving financial affairs, the staffs can

communicate the finance divisions, and then the finance divisions wil discuss about it,

based on our budgeting and CEO recommendaation.

    November 18th-20th Lily and Rose

November 20th Car Free Day Dago

    November 20th Japan Art Sabuga

    November 9th

At first, we sell our products on 9th November at Dipatiukur using tables without any

tends. We face many problems at that time. The first is our team have not ready yet, but

there was target selling that had to be accomplished. At that time, fortunately we had

accomplished the target selling from offline selling and online too.

    November 10th

On November 10th, we did offline selling by doing pre-order first. After we collected the

orders, the product team cooked the products and we delivered it to the consumers. We

cooked all the orders in our member’s home, Dipati Ukur. Every member targetted to get

order for everyday, so we have many orders for each day.

    November 11th

On November 11th, we started to loaded our stuffs at 12 PM until 3 AM. At that time, we

collaborated with Manchiz. We only sold foods (the lumer banana) and Manchiz sold

beverages. We opened our booth starts from 10 AM until 10 PM.

    November 12th

We still opened our booth at Trans Studio Mall. We classified the time working into 4

    shift as follows, 10AM - 12PM, 12PM – 3 PM, 3PM – 6PM, 6PM – 9PM. Each shift

operated by 3 members. The first shift had to come earlier, since they need to prepare all

the equipments. We start to open order at 10 AM. The marketting team started shouting

and promoting, some of them also walk around to invite more people to come. We also

put the menu board on the public table, thus people can freely read our menu. In order to

attract more people, we made a sample to display. Unfortunately we didn’t get many

orders that day since people focused on the music performance. We also have another

rivalry who get the more effective and crowded place. At 9 PM we closed order and

started packing all the equipments. At 10 PM we closed the stand and left from TSM.

    November 13th

We still opened our booth at Trans Studio Mall and opened a booth too at Car Free Day

Dago. We rented the stand, chair and table from Surapati Street and brought it to Jetset.

We also made the decoration to prettify the stand. Since we did not get the legal

permission for the venue, so we had to come earlier to get the proper place.

  • 20

Consequently, we loaded our stuffs to Car Free Day Dago from 4 AM. We finished

setting the stand at 5.27 AM. Unfortunatelly, the product team came late. Thus we have

to wait a little more time to start execute the selling activity. At 6.30 AM we started

prepare all the ingredients and cooking. The marketting team started shouting

“Sakecaaaaa” to attract more people and some of them also walked around Dago street to

invite more people to come. At 9 AM our product was sold out and we were forced to

reject some order. Hurrily the product team bought all the ingredients we need then we

open order for the second session. At 11 AM we closed and moved to TSM.

    November 14th-17th

We did offline selling. We opened pre - order from morning till afternoon, then

delievered the product on the evening.

    November 18th

We opened our booth at Lily and Rose and collaborated with Uncle Dan. Uncle Dan

already tagged the place for us at the side of parking lot from 9.30 AM, but the stand had

not arrived yet. There was also another stand, Kooy Ah, who also opened the stand there

that day. At first, they opened their stand at the center of the parking lot, but suddenly

they are informed that it was not allowed to open it there, so they moved to our place and

it made a tough debate between Sakeca x Uncle Dan and Kooy Ah about who deserved

that place. Fortunately, it ended well with us getting the place and Kooy Ah moved to

another side. We prepared the ingredients until around 1 PM because we waited for the

boys to finish shalat Jum’at. The selling went really well and gave us big profit.

    November 19th

Continue from yesterday, we opened our stand at 10PM. Fortunately, in this day, our

execution passed without any problem. We also divided our team became 2 teams. First

team stay at the booth and second team had to send the online order to consumer. Even

the weather was rainy at the day, we still can pass our daily target. Around 8 PM, the

execution and marketing team did a discussion about the shift on the next day because we

will open the stand at three places (Car Free Day Dago, Lily and Rose and Japan Art

Project 2.0 at Sabuga). The final result is we divided our team into two, the first team will

be in charge of Car Free Day and Lily and Rose, and the other one at Sabuga. Around 9

PM we closed the discussion and finished our execution at 10PM.

    November 20th

At 4 AM, we went to Lily and Rose to take the equipments and Ingredients to be used at

Car Free Day and Japan Art Project 2.0. From Lily and Rose, we are split our way as the

agreement the day before. Around 5.30 AM, we are arrived at each place. The Japan Art

Project 2.0 team are prepared the stand for about 30 minutes and ready at 6.45 AM, but

all the ingredients are taken to Car Free Day so we have to prepared and bought the

ingredients again to start our execution and it was started at 10 AM.

    CHAPTER 5 Conclusion

During the first semester, in introduction to business course we have learned about

general management, which contain four major functions, they are marketing,

operation, finance, and also human resources. Those concepts that have been given by

our lecturer can be directly realized and implemented during the business simulation

process. We do realize that every management function need to support one another

in order to established a good business. Moreover, we also do believe that whether or

not a business will be success in the upcoming days is determined by how much

contribution of each member dedicate towards the company. That is why, all of our

members try to contribute and helping each other in order to accomplish our

    company’s objectives.

We have also learned that a good teamwork has a very strong correlation with

maintaining a good coordination within all of the members. To have a strong and

solid team, every member should also be open-minded and willing to accept other

opinions and critics. Thus, everyone can evaluate their selves and improve into a

better person. In addition, we have agreed that every single problem, which occurs

within the company, must be shared and discussed in order to find out the right

    solution.

In addition, we learned how flexing is much needed in managing diversity within the

company. We need to understand everyone’s needs to keep them motivated thus all of

them can give their very best contribution into the company which will have positive

impact for the company. Our leadership aspects also have to be forged, especially for

head of each division and the CEO, therefore each division can completed each

objectives and still work within the track.

After all, through business simulation we have taught about the importance of

teamwork, being creative and innovative, time management, respect, and be

responsible to particular job that we have been assigned for.

    All Member Profiles

    Silvi Absharina 19716116

Im the CEO of Sakeca. At the first time we start business simulation, I gave the idea to sell 'fried banana' and 'nasi cumi'. I also gave an idea to search sancrits word that means 'delicious'. Then we find 'sakeca'. My job in this team is to give a brief about what we have to do next, I also have to be decision maker of the team. Im be a reminder for my team if there is any member who seldom join trial and errors. I lead the brainstorming sections to find where is the right place to sell this product. I accompanied execution division to make a deal with vendor (outlets). I help execution to contact the vendor, to find the cheapest tent that we can rent. I help product in trial and error week,

I decided what flavour that we can sell after we try all the flavour that we've made in trial and error week. I decided to change their idea about selling milkshake because it's too complicated to make and takes long time and beverages is our side menus to I remind them that we have to focus on our main menus. I helped finance in budgeting and remind them to think twice if there's overprice thing that we have to buy. Overall, I felt that I did what my team need me as CEO and I participate well. And honestly know that im hard to treat people well. I feel like im not good enough to control feeling of my member or to make 'friendly environment' to a member who didnt do their job well or to a member who is too talkative but that isnt solutive at all. I seldom cut their ideas because I think what they want to do is not necessary or make too much cost. Honestly, I know that I usually cut other ideas on my side only, and because of bad 'penyampaian', they can accept my decision. Thus, I think there are hard feeling or something like that amongs me and some of my members.

    Syarif Mahdi 19716031

My task as a vice CEO actually wasn’t clear. At first I gave an advice to my CEO from different thinking in our group. And because that doesn’t really effective, my CEO told me to help the execution team. I do everything I could to help the selling, from delivery, marketing to my friend, advising suitable place, loading in and out the goods, design the outlook in our stand, buy the missing ingredients, direct selling on execution day, help the production team to made our first product, give an idea to solve problems, and help to cook best as I can. My dismiss task actually the vice of the CEO itself,

  • 25

because I’m too focus at other thing as well as my CEO. So I do not give a specific advice to my CEO.

    Regita Rismadhanti 19716216

I am Regita as secretary of Sakeca Company. My job description are Write down every important thing, result of every meeting. Save all databases of company profile and employee profile. Keep all of the company’s documents. Make presentation content and final report. All of them had already done but there was task that I could not done too. I did not fill the activity book routinely and I could not make good design for the presentation or report so asked Brenda or Sandra or Silvi to help me. Simulasi business gave me a lot of experiences. And I learned a lot from that. From the process, deliver the order, finding place for execution. We also become know character every members . It really help me to do business directly and implement the theory that already we got.

    Shanaya Ratu 19716226

I’m Shanaya as the CFO of Sakeca Company. My job

description is develops finance organizational strategies

by contributing financial and accounting information,

analysis, and recommendations to strategic thinking

and direction; establishing functional objectives in line

with organizational objectives. Beside that, Reports

financial status by developing forecasts; reporting

    results; analyzing variances; developing improvements

are also my job description. Since the simulation

business started, I gave an idea to sell the dessert, after

our company decided to sell the innovated frying

banana, our company have to make the financial

    planning, and I did it.

I did the detail financial planning and in the first finance

presentation to get the capital from SBM, my team did it

once without revision and our company got the capital

from SBM that day. I kept thinking about the strategy

idea to get the target. The first strategy idea is each

member of the company should sell the product 10 box

each day and my company did it well. Second strategy

idea is make the “pisang tusuk” with Silvi. Pisang tusuk

is sakeca as usual but the different is how we sell the

product, in sakeca we sell 15000rupiahs that is 6 pieces

in a box, but in pisang tusuk we sell per 2 pieces 5000

like satai. But the second strategy idea wasn’t happen

because of so many order the 6pieces in a box. I think I

  • 26

did my job well, but my mistake is Ieave out some

    receipt of transaction.

    Gabriella Alexandra 19716325

Many experiences that I get out of this business simulation. such as how to regulate finance in a company, how the importance of coordination between the companies. in sakeca I play a role in the financial field, where we are very busy when at the start when creating a financial plan and at the end when preparing financial statement. and its hard I want them billing bon in other members. possible for them it is not an important thing, but it is very important for the financial slightest expenditure issued. but there are still many who do not understand it and held a long time or even not reply bon chat. and I also learned how to respect each other, because in this group in fill by many people of different character each other.

    Sandrafi Annisa R. 19716043

I was a CMO in simulation business. I made planning for the publication for sakeca. I published the promotion of the company to many people using social media and by mouth to mouth. I asked some popular teens in Bandung to do the promotion for publish Sakea. I made the layout for the place and design the decoration too I made some poster ( coming soon posters, promotion posters, explanation of product poster, and many more). And I took some photos for the product and edited in to make it looked better. Sakeca could penetrate @makanpakereceh in instagram and it made sakeca become more popular and many people know sakeca. I was the holder for the official account and the holder of instagram. I did a communication network for all the members. I took over for people who wanted to buy by social media. I made some captions for saeca’s social media. I made an idea for the product, my idea was coloring the banana’s dough. I ushered the booked to the customers and I made it by myself too. I searched the place or an event for selling the product. I found TSM and Japan art for selling the product. On the other hand, I did not do my planning. I did not make a jiggle for sakeca. I did not make a video teaser and I could not get 1000 followers for sakeca’s instagram.

    Nurlita Devian 19716058

This whole time, during the preparation weeks until the execution weeks,I always contribute in sakeca.Me as a marketing help my team to promote the brand of sakeca. We make a pre-poster before we launch sakeca and I ask my friends to post in their instagram and path. Before execution,I gave an idea to marketing team to make a logo for promotion. People should shows our logo in their photo to post in social media with a caption tells our booth. And I also handle promotion to

  • 27

@makanpakereceh like make a deal and meet them to promote our product. Be a member of sakeca.co, I also help other division like product team and execution team. I helped product to looking for the cheap materials and helped execution to search the place we open our booth and make a deal for open booth in TSM. And also helped in loading in and loading out. So,I think my performance in this company is real and accountable.

    Nada Nuraidah 19716266

I’m Nada Nuraidah as the Marketing Team of Sakeca Company. My main duty in this company are, to make the promotion strategy for this company, I have to think how consumer want to buy our product, and also make them curious about our product. And also I have to share the poster that our Marketing Team already made, to the people around Bandung. To make sure they know our product more. So, my main duty is to make sure the people around Bandung want to taste and buy our company product. I asked my friend who is quiet popular in Bandung to share our company product in their social media, it is one of our promotion strategy. We think, if the popular people promote our company poster. It will make the other people who follow them on social media more curious and want to try our product. The second strategy that we did to promote our company is, made the unique poster by adding some colorful background, and also add some interesting picture to make the consumer curious. And I think the strategies that we’ve already made is quite work, because lot of our friends around Bandung ordered our “pisang lumer”. They said that they are very curious of our product. They said that product name is really unique. I think already do my job quiet well in this company, but for some reason sometimes I left the company while they are made the product, so I felt guilty about that. So I think this “Business Simulation” teach me how to cooperate with other well and focused on the jobdesk and also the target that you want to reach with your company.

    Rama Putra 19716303

In this project, I volunteered as product head division because I felt I was able to take responsibility in these positions. However, as time goes by I felt my member doesn't have a spirit like what I feel and I can't do

  • 28

everything all alone. luckily, I have Risma as a reliable person and assist in completing the job.

My contribution in this company are, I make this brand name called "sakéca" in Sanskrit, which means delicious. I create the design of the logo and menu. I also do research and development to produce products that are delicious as our brand name. I also discovering places to buy the cheapest production materials.

I felt less contribution while execution time, because on Friday to Sunday (11-13 November) I have to go back to Jakarta because my father had an accident. I was also less concerned and involved in the production of Thai tea.

    Andi Kharisma 19716047

I am in sakeca as product division. I always came when

trial and error and finding recipe for banana and

topping. However, only trial and error to make banana

that I visited. As for the trial and error to make tea thai ,

i came only once since the first meeting I had to go to

Cibadak to find packaging. And for thai tea I also did not

understand for make it. the thai tea that i made is not as

good as expected. So the team set up for thai tea team

and I joined the team to make a banana. Leader of

product division, me and some of the marketing

division looking for store that sells cheap ingredients.

so, me and leader of product divison who always bought

the ingredients. but to bought bananas and flour, we did

it together with another members of product division.

At first, just me that could make topping for banana, so

there should be me on every sale. However, the other

members have also been able to make the topping. In

first week of CFD, i could not came because i was sick

and my mistake was not tell the others so other

members could be confused about the making of

topping because they did not know the recipe. I deeply

apologize to the others and I gave them the recipe even

    its too late.

    Yumi Maizura 19716224

Simulation Business really teach me a lot of lessons during in this fourth weeks. I am Yumi Maizura Azzahrah, student number 19716224 tutorial group F as a member of product division. During for this fourth weeks too much moments has occured. We used two weeks firstly for preparation such as doing trial and

  • 29

error to find the good taste and to find the great recipe. However, there are several session in trial and error that I have missed because of my body condition is drop and require me to entered hospital and take a bed rest for several days. But, during I am sick, I also helped marketing division to promote and to informed us that we opened PreOrder (Sakeca) to my friends also my family who leaves in Bandung. After I am feeling good, I am back to do my job, and our execution day we started on 9th November 2016, we starting to make first ordering that we have got from PreOrder in Age’s boarding house the we hold our soft opening in our first booth at ITB Jl. Dipatiukur and then in TSM Bandung-Lily n Rose Jl. Riau-Car Free Day-Festival Japan, even when we have free class, we made our PreOrdering in my boarding house. Except on PreOrder and direct order, we make an agreement to make individual targets that each person sell a minimum 30 portion ‘pisang lumer’ or thai tea. from here also I have get one of the benefits of their relations on campus such as following unit, because from there I was able to market this product which is my personal target was done. Not only that, surely I learn a lot of lessons about collaborating among my team or with another division, about make a good teamwork, hardwork, profesionality, also to complete each others.

    Dini Ika 19716088

What I have done: What I have done for this company is i handle thai tea production alone with pute, while most of them busy with pisang. For thai tea I don’t think I did my best somehow i feel like thai tea is not important for this company because since the beginning it’s just me, pute and risma who did trial and error. So, we couldn’t give the best taste that we could gave. I think it’s because we don’t do ‘the real trial and error’ with the whole group member taste and gave comments for it. As a member of sakeca production I made the packaging design but all of the rejected. I don’t think it was rejected because it’s not suitable with our product, but I think its rejected because of miss communication between our group member. Outside my job description. Sometimes I did execution job to provide properties for the stand (cooler box) and ingredients for our company. I bought some ingredients such as Oreo, water, and banana sometimes (it is the most difficult job because the banana quality is not always the same depends on the day and the species of raja bulu), etc. I also printed sticker for packaging and menus. A few times I did loading stuff for CFD 2 times (before and after) and

  • 30

Sabuga stand (After). A few times I also did delivery for our product. If my job desk was finished if knew the banana member wasn’t finished yet I come to the production member, I didn’t do the main part like cook and make dough, I just cutting the banana and cutting some ingredient because its wont ruin the taste of banana. For some reasons, I don’t feel comfortable working with this company. Maybe because we don’t have the same point of view and I couldn’t have explained it to another member because I didn’t really know each other yet. Honestly, I feel like exiled because I’m the only member who don’t get invited to the line group (but with my initiative I ask one of our company member to invited me to the group). I also the only member who didn’t get any schedule in TSM stand. And for the lily and rose stan I almost didn’t get any schedule again. Fortunately, there are a revision. It’s unfortunate that we don’t often have evaluation because we couldn’t know each other contribution to this company. Many of our member talk each other weakness from their back instead of told them directly. I also has difficulty to communicate with others because I don’t really know the member yet plus I have trust issue with friendship it makes me hard to communicate and engage with people.

    Puteri Annisa 19716141

The main point of my duty in Sakeca is to develop the

ideas about what product that will Sakeca has. And also

do the trial and error test about how to make the

products. The product division devided into 2 division,

there are Pisang Lumer division and Thai Tea division,

and I am a member of Thai Tea division. So, I have to

made the trial and error for making the thai tea and also

produce it. Another duty I have, are make the packaging

design, shop the materials needed, and also join the

    execute day of selling. Several things I have done are;

made the digital version of Sakeca business model

canvas, joined the trial and error for Pisang Lumer and

thai tea, produced the thai tea and bubbles, joined the

execute day of selling in Dipati Ukur, Trans Studio Mall,

Car Free Day, Lily n’ Rose and Japan Art Project.

(Sometimes I cooked the product, offer and promote the

product, and delivered the product), joined the

production of Pisang Lumer for Pre-order, offer and

promote Sakeca and the products to another faculties

in ITB and another university (UNPAD, UPI, UNISBA,

  • 31

EKUITAS, UNJANI) by personal chat. And also by post

about Sakeca in instagram, looked for and found the

contact person of ice tube seller, made a packaging

design (but the design was refused, in order to

economize the cost for packaging). Shop the materials

for Pisang Lumer and Thai Tea, joined the evaluation

meeting, delivered the products to the customer that

bought the product but they are far from the location

    when we sell it.

Some ideas that have I suggest are the packaging

design, I also suggest that the Pisang Lumer has a color

and a different taste in every color, I said it to one of the

member of product division. But it was refused, because

it will be strange if the taste of banana mixed with

another taste from food pigment. Made a various taste

of thai tea, like green tea, chocolate, soda, milo, and etc.

But when we have did the trial and error for thai tea we

realize that it was really hard for us to made the yummy

and nice taste that feel nice in everyone mounth for the

new thai tea. What task that I have missed is make a

trial and error for milk (before we decided to choose

thai tea), because in the first time we want to have milk

as our beverage. There are several things I have learned

from this business simulation. First, we should have a

good teamwork skill. So everytime in the future, if there

are suddenly a team task again we can adapt fastly &

nicely. We also should plan and concept nicely and

detail what will we do in the future, we also have many

reserve plans if our main plan gone wrong. We also

should manage the fund we have as well as we can. I

also learned that we should have a good manner and a

    good treatment to everyone.

    Naufal Ghiffary 19716072

I am Naufal, in product division. I helped preparing tools and materials and cook. Beside that, I had to find the materials which was not easy.

and prepare the packaging. Sometimes I helped execution division to take care the logistic.

    Brenda 19716049

I’m Brenda (19716049), Execution in charged. My main job is to make a plans and procedures for execution, set comprehensive goals for company’s performance and growth, manage relationship with partners/vendors, find place to execute products selling, and make sure every stuffs that Sakeca needs for execution is ready and set. I’m also in charge of measuring effectiveness and eficiency of execution process both internally and externally. At the first week on business simulation, I gave my idea for production to make an Indonesian kind of sushi using nasi kuning, but my company mates are agreed to make fried melted banana for this company’s product. Since the first time of trial and error, I listed every detail things Sakeca needs for execution and tried to find out the best place to sell this products. Knowing that the market segment is the upper middle, we decided to sell the products in Menefesto TSM and Lily and Rose FO, also Japan Festival on Sabuga

    Rani Dewi 19716225

On the execution team, I got the task to find the place to rent the tent for the execution day. I did call many tent rentals and asking for the price of the sarnavil tent (3x3m), because that what us had planned to be our tent. There are varieties of prices they offered, from 500 thousand rupiahs until 750 thousand rupiahs. I marked the places that gave the cheapest offer and ready to call them when needed. But turn out, we did not use the tent on the first week because we opened the stand at Trans Studio Mall parking basement and when we execute the selling process with Uncle Dan, the tent was rented by them (we payed it together). When we execute at CFD, me with the execution team came at 4 AM to tag our place because there were also another seller that might wanted to open their stand at that place also and we prepared the place for our selling process. When we want to execute in front of Jessie

  • 33

James, I (with our CEO) came to the owner of the place to made a deal of place rent in the parking lot of Jessie James, but he offered us to open it in front of Lily and Rose because there were a bazaar in front of Jessie James and we accepted it. Then, as the execution team, I organized the execution day, from what equipment will be needed and how we will bring it to the execution place. I rented the desks and chairs for cooking and the cashier seat, we also bought the equipments needed such as bowls, spoons, tissue, trash bags, etc. and sometimes helps the product team to bought the ingredients. To save our money, we asked the whole Sakeca’s members to borrow some of the things that needed for the execution (example: tupperwares, cooler box, etc.). We brought it all using a car. On the execution day, I was sometimes helped the production process to cooked the bananas or packaging the product, also helped the cashier to receive orders and sometimes marketing our product with wandering around people with offering and displaying our product. And when there were online orders, we delivered the products to the costumer. Dismissed task : On the first day, we were failed to find the place for selling our products. Actually, we already gave the proposals to many places, but they were cannot gave us the decision yet at that time but one of our member was covered it up so it was well-ended. Then, there were sometimes lack of the items at the execution days that means we were not prepared it carefully. It made the selling process hampered and we had to bought it first so it wasted the time.

    Khairul Ariffin 19716177

I am Khairul Arifin (19716177), as the part of execution division in Sakeca. My division’s job descriptions are classified into 2 parts, preparation week and execution week. In the preparation week, we have to find sponsor and contact each place’s owner to ask permission, list and prepare the tools we need for execution day, find places for selling sakeca’s products, make a proposal to ask permission to place’s owner, make a banner and design for our stand, join and contribute in every product trial and error day. My division leader has separated the job for each member. My specific job is make a banner and design for the stand. Moreover, all members have to join and contribute in every product trial and error. My roles in the preparation week are as follows. I designed and printed a background banner decoration for prettify the stand. I also made a design for the stand content,

  • 34

including the location of every equipment and tools. I submitted my obligation in joining the product trial and error also. I got the additional job for helping my friend’s job in finding the places for selling the product. I spread the proposal in several stores to get the legal place. I also helped another’s job in gathering the tools and equipment. For me personally I did my job as maximal as possible in the preparation week even some jobs are skipped, since I didn’t get the permission for getting the legal place because of the slow proposal response. At the execution week, the CEO has divided the work shift for each member, moreover everyday each member has to stand by at the stand to help something. I have 2 shifts in TSM and 2 shifts in Lily and Rose, but I still have to come in every execution days. What I did in the execution days are mostly set the stand, load out the stand, contribute in cooking, and doing promotion. For me personally I have done my job in the execution week maximally even I have illness. I skipped 2 days in the execution week to get a rest. Simulation business told me that teamwork is a key to run a business. Everyone has to respect each other. A sense of individual has to be minimalized in order to have a mutualism cooperation.

    Vico Dwi 19716175

In this project I as an Execution Team. This team

jobdesk is make sure the execution process run very

well without any mistake. We are consist of six

members, and each of member have their own main job

that have to do. My main job is make proposal to ask

permission to places’ owner. I have done this job as well

as I can. Even though we have main job, we also work

together when prepared the execution. Such as, rent the

tent, rent the tables and ch airs, found the materials that

needed, etc. Besides of that, I also participated in many

of task during the execution process. My team and I also

helped the product team to found the ingredients such

as we bought the banana and also joined in the

production process. And sometime we also helped

marketing to sale the product and promoted the

product. And at the end, I as an execution team have to

apologize for any mistake when I worked in this team. I

know that we as an execution team have not gave yet

our company the best place to executed, and sorry for

during the execution process there are any lacked, but I
