Welcome to the first newsletter of Term 4. Our family was lucky enough to travel to Europe over the holidays. The highlight for me was definitely Ireland and Bath. Our girls have been given lifelong learning experiences and will hopefully keep these memories close to them for a long time. As we head into the final 6 weeks of the year we are busy finalising our curriculum key learning areas and will shortly head into assessments. As the year fast draws to a close it has been both challenging and rewarding for our team. I am happy to have the full team back on deck and am hopeful that 2020 will be a smoother road to travel. Many things have been happening within the school, swimming at Injune State School every Monday has commenced, Tennis on Friday mornings and Thursday morning Prep transitions with Pippa, Rose, Emily and Ronny. They have embraced this experience with great enthusiasm and have expe- rienced a small portion of life in a classroom. School Graduation and Concert Night: Invitations have been ordered and will be sent out shortly. The concert is December 7th at 5pm for a 5.30pm start. The students will sing, dance and showcase the year that was, in 2019. P & C News: There will be a working bee at the school to be advised by the P & C closer to the concert night and early in 2020. Please keep an eye out and help out if you can. Seafood Truck: Will be on the Rec Hall side under the trees this Friday No- vember 8th 7.30-9.30 am. Regional Director Visit: The Darling Downs Regional Director Leanne Wright will visit the school Monday 11th of November. Leanne made a commitment to visit all schools within her region in 2019. We look forward to showcasing our school.

They have embraced this experience with great enthusiasm and have expe-rienced a small portion of life in a classroom.

Seafood Truck: Will be on the Rec Hall side under the trees this Friday No-vember 8th 7.30-9.30 am.

Regional Director Visit: The Darling Downs Regional Director Leanne Wright will visit the school Monday 11th of November. Leanne made a commitment to visit all schools within her region in 2019. We look forward to showcasing our school.

Take a Selfie: We recently introduced Take A Selfie. When students feel proud of their work they place a selfie peg onto it and we email it home. Take a look at the great work our students have been doing:

“I’m proud of my work because I’m learning more of how to do a panel discussion and I had a lot of fun doing it”- Brody Sylvester

“I’m proud of my work because I think I did a good job at graphing

data”- Lucy Raynolds

“I was proud of this be-cause I coloured it by my-self without any help” – Hayden Finney
