Fluid Saturations

• Definition - The fluid saturation for a particular fluid is the

fraction of pore volume occupied by that fluid

 –  Saturation is an intensive property

• These fluid volumes are measured under specific conditions of pressure and

temperature &e'%' reservoir# or laboratory(
