Thismanualexplainshowtooperateandmain-tainyournewTerri ATD.EvenifyouarealreadyfamiliarwithTerri,thereisalotofinformationinthismanualwhichyouwillneedtoknow.

Youcancarryoutlubricationandroutinemainte-nanceyourself,butfortheotherservicingworkwestronglyadvicethatthemachineshouldbehandedovertoyourdealer,whohasawell-trainedworkshopstaffavailable.

TERRI ATDTerri ATD isatrackdrivecross-countryvehiclewithAckermannsteeringsystemandaloadingcapacityof3tons. Terri ATD isaspecialpurposemachinewithanextensiveandmany-sidedrangeofapplication.

Terri ATDisequippedwithafour-cylinder,fluidcooledLombardiniLDWdieselunitengine.

Terri ATDisequippedwithahydrostatic/mechanicalsteeringassemblywithsealedhydrauliccircuit.Aneffect limitedvariablehydraulicpumpthatisdirectlycoupledtoaninternalcombustionengineoperatesthesystem.Inthetractorunitahigh-speedhydraulicmotorisrunninga2-speedgearboxofpreselectiontypewithamechanicaldifferen-tialblocking.Thegearboxrunsthetracksviatwogearwheels.

Terri ATD iseasytodrivewithsmoothrunningcharacteristicsandgreattractiveforceinallsituations.Theclosed hydraulicsystemisequallyeffectiveasabrakeasitprovidesgreattractiveforce.

Thedriver’scabisspaciousandthecontrolcomponentsusedforworkarewithinconvenientreach.ThenumbersoffunctionsnecessarytooperateTerri ATD areminimised.Thereforeboththedriving-andworkingpositionis comfortableforthedriver.Theflexiblegrabloaderiseitheroperatedviaaconventionalmultipleleversystemorviaa doubleleversystem,inthatcaseequippedwithbuilt-indrivingfunctions.Thedriver’sseatisobtainablewith mechanicspringsorairsprings.

Atthefrontofthemachinethereisabuilt-inwinch.Thewinchcanbeusedtopulloffthemachineortodrawout timberfrominaccessibleterrain.

LOADING UNIT EQUIPPED WITH HYDRAULIC DRIVEThewagonisequippedwithtwolowspeedhydraulicmotorsthatoperatethetracksviaagearpinion.Thewagonisequippedwithanautomatichydraulicdifferentialbrake.Anelectricswitchinthecabinswitchesthewagonoperation onandoff.Whenthewagonoperationisdisconnectedthehydraulicmotorsarebalancedatthesametimesothat thewagoncanrunfree.Maximumtransportspeedisachievedbydisconnectingthewagonoperationandputtingin thehigh-speedgear.Thewagonisequippedwithabuilt-inparkingbrakethatisoperatedviaanelectricswitchinthecabin.Whenthe motorisstoppedthewagonisbrakedautomatically.

Remember! Security always depends upon the driver, therefore follow the security instructions carefully.

GENERAL SECURITY REGULA-TIONSReadandtrytounderstandthecontentsofthischapter.ItcontainsatableofrulesthatalwaysmustbefollowedwhenworkingwithTerri.However,theserulesdonotexcusethedriverfromnotfol-lowingstatutoryorotherregulationsvalidnationallyinthefieldofsafetyintrafficandoccupationalsecurity.

Before drivingCheckwhetherthefunctionsofthedrivingleversandbrakecontrolisallright.

DrivingNeverdrivethemachinemerelywithwagonoperation.Thiscancausethemachinetotipundercertaincircumstances.Thelowgearofthetractorunitmustalwaysbeengagedwhenwagonoperationisengaged.Whendrivingonuphillanddownhillslopesthewagonoperationmustalwaysbeengaged.

PRIOR TO leaving the machineBeforeyouleavethemachine:putdowntheloggrips,stopthemotorandswitchoffthemainswitch.

Fluid levelsWhencontrollingthefluidlevelorfillingthefueltankorthefluidlevelofthebatteryneveruseopenflames.

TerrainIfpossible,inspecttheterrainwhereyouaretodrive,especi-allyduringthewintertimewhenthesnowiscoveringbumps.Payattentiontotheangleofinclinationandtheconsequen-cesthiswillhaveonthestabilityofthetractor.

ChildrenNeverallowchildreninthecabinorinthevicinityofthemachinewhenthemotorisrunning.

Emergency exitsGetfamiliarwiththeemergencyexitsofthecabin.1.Sidedoor2.Roofhatch3.WindscreenThesecuritypinsoftheroofhatchmustbewithdrawnwhendrivingonanice-coveredlake.

Whenthewindscreenisusedasemergencyexit,smashfirstthescreenwiththehammer,placedinsideontherightinthecabin.

Ifitisnotpossibletokeeptheabovesecuritydistance,thepowerstationmustbecontactedwiththerequesttocutoffelectricitywhileoneisworkingthere.Onemustundernocircumstancesrelyongoodluckwhenworkinginthevicinityofaeriallines.Ifitisnotpossibletohavethepowercutoffonemusttrytomovethetimberbyothermeansbeforeusingthecraneforloading.

1. Parking brakeThisleveraffectsamechanicalbrake.Whentheleverismo-vedbackwardsthebrakeisengaged.Viathebuttonontopoftheleverthelockisunbolted.

2. Front air vents screenTheairventsregulatethedirectionoftheincomingair.Fordefrosterpurposestheairisdirectedtowardsthewindscreen.

3. Front air vents floorTheairventsregulatethedirectionoftheincomingair.

4. Winch lockThewinchlockpreventsthecablefromrunningoutcom-pletely.Thewinchlockiscontrolledviaaleverontheleftsideontheinstrumentboard.Thewinchlockisreleasedwhentheleverisinitsfrontposition.Releasethewinchlockandpullthecableout.Attention! Use protective gloves.

Attention! Never push the driving lever backwards when the winch is in use. This can cause damage to the gearbox.

5. Double action hydraulic cylinderViathedoubleactionhydrauliccylinder,installedbetweenthetractorunitandthewagon,thepositionforthefrontofthetractorunitcanbeadjustedtodifferentconditions.

Position 1: Operatingleverpushedup=thetractorunit“floats”free,i.e.thetractorunitcannobstructedlyfollowtheterrain.Thisisthenormaldrivingposition.

Attention! Spring-loaded locking of the lever in this posi-tion.Position 2: Operatingleverincentre,withspring-loadin centreposi-tion=“lockedposition”.Thepositionofthetractorunitinrationtothewagonislocked.Thispositionisonlyrecommendedwhendrivinginlightsnowwithouttrackandwhencrossingaditchorotherobstacle.Position 3: Bypushingtheoperatingleverforwardthefrontofthetractorunitgoesdown.Theoperatinglevergoesowingtothespring-loadbackto“lockedposition”(2)whenreleasingthelever.

CAUTION! Do not swivel sharply with the machine when the front is down.

Position 4: Bypushingtheoperatingleverdownwardsthefrontofthetractorunitgoesup.Theoperationlevergoesowingtothespring-loadbackto“lockedposition”(2)whentheleverisreleased.

WinchThewinchiscontrolledviaaleverontherightsideontheinstrumentboard.Whenoneputstheleverintofrontposi-tion,gear(11)intoneutralposition,wagonoperationdisen-gaged,drivinglever(13)forwardandonepressesthethrottlepedaldown,thewinchcableishoistedinontothewinchcabledrum.CAUTION!Prior to operating the winch make sure that the cable is not damaged. If a cable breaks during operation itcan cause great damage.

Attention! Never move the driving lever backwards when the winch is in use. This causes that the winch cable is rolled up in the wrong direction on the winch cable drum.

11. Gear leverWiththegearlevertwogearscanbechosen.Iftheleverismovedforwardthehigh-speedgearisengagedandwhentheleverisintherearpositionthelowspeedgearisengaged.Whentheleverisincentrepositionneutralpositionisenga-ged.

CAUTION!The machine must never be driven with wagon opera-tion only. This can cause the machine to tip under certain circumstances. The low gear of the tractor unit must always be engaged when wagon operation is engaged. When driving on uphill and downhill slopes the wagon operation must always be engaged.

12. Throttle pedal forwardThethrottlepedalcontrolstheenginespeedduringdriving.

Driving leverThedrivinglevercontrolssteering.Whentheleverismovedtotherightthemachineturnstotheright.Whentheleverismovedtotheleftthemachineturnstotheleft.Steeringdoesnotautomaticallyreturnto“forward”buthastobesteeredbackwiththedrivinglever.Viathelockthedrivinglevercanbelockedintoneutralposi-tion.13b Change-direction switchTheswitchisplacedfrontofthedrivingleverandhasthreepositions.Whentheswitchisdownwardsthemachinemovesforward.Whentheswitchisupwardsthemachinemovesbackwards.Themiddlepositionsisneutralposition.13c Flow-devide-functionTheengagebleflow-deviderisinstalledbetweenthetractorunitandwagonsdriveengines.Whenwagonoperationisen-gagedandtheswitch13cispresseddown,thehydraulicoilflowisdevidedbetweenthehydraulicenginesinthetractorunitandthewagon.Thisfunctionincreasewagonspullingpowerevenifthewagonisspinning.Caution ! wagon ope-ration must always be engaged when using flow-devide-function.

The trailer brake is a parking brake. Always release the trailer brkae when driving the machine; the brake may oth-erwise be damaged.

20.13 Wiper and washer for rear windowTheswitchhastwopositions.Thefirstpositionsstartsthewiperandthesecond,theresilientpositionstartsthewasher.

Attention! The rear window has a protective pane being very resistant against knocks and impacts. However it is not as scratch resistant as normal glass. Therefore never engage the wiper on a dry pane. Neither should you clean the pane with a dry cloth.

21 Instrument board

21.1 Revolution indicatorTherevolutionindicatorshowstherotationspeedoftheen-gine.

21.2 Working hours indicatorThisindicatorshowstherunninghoursofthemachine.Theindicatorisengagedwhentheengineisrunning.

21.3 Temperature control for hydraulic oilShowsthetemperatureofthehydraulicoil

21.4 Engine temperature indicatorTheenginetemperatureindicatorshowsthetemperatureofthecoolantoftheengine.Whenrunningnormally,withtheenginewarm,thetemperatureshownshouldbe90–95de-grees.

21.5 Fuel meterRegistersthefuellevelinthetank.

21.6 Control lamp oil pressure engineThecontrollampshouldbeoutwhentheengineisrunning.However,iftheoilpressureoftheenginedropsbelow0.5barthecontrollampwilllightup.Ifthisshouldhappen,stoptheengineimmediatelyanddeterminethesourceofthetrou-bleandtakecareofitbeforeyoustarttheengineagain.

21.7 Glow indicatorTheindicatorbecomesextinctwhentheglowingprocessiscompleted.

21.8 Charging control lampNormallythelampshouldbeoutwhentheengineisrunning.Ifthelamplightswhilerunningthisindicatesthatthereisafaultintheelectricalsystemandthesourceofthetroublemustbedeterminedandtakencareof.

21.9 Warning lamp for low hydraulic oil levelThewarninglampwilllightupwhenthehydraulicoilleveldropstothelowestlimit.

Attention! Never turn off the main switch while the engine is running. CAUTION!The main switch must be turned off when carrying out service- and maintenance measures on the machine!

26. Emergency hammerWhenthewindscreenisudesasemergencyexit,smashthescreenwiththehammer,placedinsideontherightinthecabin.

Driving seat

The swivelling of the driver’s seatThedrivingseatcanbeswivelledandfixedinthreeposi-tions.Forwardfordriving,60degreestotheleftforenteringandleavingthemachineaswellasbackwardsforoperatingthegrabloader.Theseatisdetachedviafootpedal1.

Adjustment of the driving seatViacontrol2theseatcanbemovedforward–backwards.Viacontrol3theverticalspringingoftheseatisadjusted.Thespringingcanbeseenonthescaleandthesetvalueshouldcorrespondtotheweightofthedriver.Viaknob4theheightofthearmrestisadjusted.Viacontrol5theseatheightofthefrontpartoftheseatisadjusted.Viacontrol6theseatheightoftherearpartoftheseatisad-justed.Byalternatelyraisingandloweringthefrontandrearpartoftheseattheheightoftheseatcanbeadjusted.Viacontrol7theangleofthebackrestoftheseatcanbead-justed.

STARTING THE ENGINERoutine measures prior to starting the engineØ Seetoitthatthethrottlepedalreturnsautomaticallyto neutralposition

Ø Seetoitthatthedrivingleverisincentrepositionand thewinchisdisengaged.

Start with cold engineTurntheignitionkeytopositiondriving(ON).Nowtheglowindicatorandthecontrolsforchargingandoilpressurewillbecomealight.Whentheglowindicatorlampbecomesextinctturnthekeytostartposition(ST)-

Seetoitthattheignitionkeyautomaticallyreturnstoposi-tion“driving”(ON)whentheengineisrunning.

Duringextremelycoldweathertwo“glowings”insucces-sionof15secondsmayberequired.Bygivingfullthrottletheinjectionpumpsuppliesmaximumamountoffuel.

Donotrunthestartermotorcontinuouslyformorethan10secondsatatime.Repeattheglowingpriortothenextstartattempt.

Engine pre-heater (optional)Duringcoldweatheritisadvisabletouseanelectricordie-seloperatedenginepre-heaterthatwarmsthecoolantoftheengine.

Warming upTheenginerequiresabout4to5minutesofwarminguptimebeforethemachinecanbeusedforfulloperation.

Start with warm engineIfstartingwithawarmenginenoglowingisnecessary.Turnthekeydirectlytostart(ST).

Stopping the engineLettherotationspeedoftheenginegodowntoidlingspeedandturntheignitionkeytoposition“OFF”.

CAUTION!When you leave the machine:Put down the grab loader, stop the engine, switch off the main switch and take the ignition key with you when you leave the machine. By doing so you make sure that all current consumers are disengaged and unauthorised persons cannot start the machine.

DRIVING

The gearbox of Terri is of pre-selection type with 2-speed. This implies that changing may only be done when the ma-chine is stationary.

Ø ReleasethebrakesØ Putthepositionofthedoubleactionhydrauliccylinder to“floatingposition”Ø engageagear(high/low)Ø Chosedirectionviathechange-directionswitch13b.Ø Increasetherotationspeedoftheengineviathethrottle pedal.

Therotationspeedoftheengineregulatestheamountofoilgettingtothehydraulicmotorsandthusthespeed.Thespeedcanthereafterbecontrolledwiththerotationspeedoftheengine(throttle).

Stopping the engineTheenginestopsifthethrottlepedalreturnstoitsidleposi-tionorifthedriving-direction-switchisputtocentreposi-tion.Iftheswitchisincentrepositionthehydrauliccircuitisclosedandthehydraulicsystemhasaslowingdowneffect.(Seetextaboutbrakes).

Driving with wagon operationWagonoperationmayonlybeengagedwhenthelowspeedgearisputin.Ifthewagonoperationisengagedwhenthehighspeedgearisengagedtheoilflowtothewagonenginesisnotsufficientwiththeresultthatthewagonissloweddown.

Themostimportantmaintenanceispreventivemaintenanceandincludeslubricationandvariouschecksandadjustments,whichcanbecarriedoutbyyou.Mostoftheseservicemeasuresaresimpletoperformandneednofurtherexplanation.However,incertaincasesmoredetailedinstructionsarenecessary,whicharegivenbelow:

CAUTION!Prior to maintenance and inspection measures: Put down the gripping appliance, stop the engine and switch off the main switch.

Measures during cold weather Duringwinterconditionswithtemperaturesbelowzerothefollowingmustbeobserved:

1. Seetoitthatsufficientantifreezingagentisaddedto thecoolant,accordingtotheinstructionsonpage25.2. Useoilrecommendedforwinteruse,seepage37.3. Fillthefueltankwhenyouhavefinishedworkingthis willpreventthatcondensationwaterisformedinthe tank.

EngineRunning-inDuringtherunning-inperiodthefollowingmustbeob-served:Changeengineoilafter100hoursrunningandfilterafter200hoursrunning.Whenitiscold,neverloadthemachinebeforetheengineandthehydraulicoiliswarm.

Check the engine oil level daily.Theoillevelshouldbewithinthemarksonthedipstick.Fillifnecessary.Asforoilqualityseepage37.

Change of engine oilTheengineoilshouldbechangedafter100hoursrunning.

Ø Loosenthescrews(1)oftheslideboardatthebumperandremovethecentrescrew(2)andlowertheslideboardthatnowalsowillletgoofitsrearmountingandfalldownontheframe.

CAUTION!Crush injury risk!Be careful when mounting and demounting the slide board.Ø Insertasuitablevesselbetweenthetracks.Ø Taketheoildrainhose,whichisfittedundertheengine, out.Ø Removethepluganddraintheoil.Ø Replacetheplugandfillupwithoilthroughthefilling- hole(3).Foramountofoilseepage37.Ø Checktheoillevelwiththedipstick(4)Ø Replacetheslideboard.

Valve mechanismHavethevalveclearancegetinspectedafter800hoursrun-ning.Ifrequireditmustbeadjusted.Valveadjustmentistobecarriedoutbyanauthorisedworkshop.

Fuel tank

Inordertoavoidthatcondensationwatergetsintotheinjec-tionpumpthefueltankistobeemptiedandcleanedonceayear.Tiltthemachinetotheleftandremovethemagneticplug.Themagneticdrainingplugisplacedbehindthebackpartofthebogieaxleontheleftsideofthemachine.

Attention! When carrying out inspection, filling or other tasks on the fuel system, under no circumstances use open lights!

Filling up with fuelFillupwithdieselfuelatopeningA,placedbehindthecabin.

Attention! Be particular with the fuel. See to it that there is no water in the fuel and that no snow gets into the tank. Always strain the fuel to avoid impurities getting into the fuel sys-tem. Water as well as impurities can damage the fuel feed pump.

Changing fuel filter IThepre-filterinstalledonthefuelhoseisofthedisposabletypeandistobechangedatleasteveryautumnbeforethecoldweathersetsin.

Cleaningoftheaircleaner

AIR CLEANERS

Theaircleanerisinstalledontopoftheengine.Thecleanerisofthedryfiltertypewithafilterinsertmadeofpaper.Theaircleanerpreventsdustandotherimpuritiestogetintotheengine.Engineattritiondependstoagreatextendonthepurityoftheinductionair.Thereforeitisveryimportantthatthecleanerisinspectedregularlyandlookedwellafter.Undernocircumstancesmusttheengineberunwithoutanaircleaneroradamagedaircleaner.Inspectthatthehoseconnectionfromtheaircleanertotheinletoftheengineistight.

Cleaning and change of air cleanerThefilterinsertistobecleanedatintervalsof50hoursrunningtime,forexamplewithcompressedair,seepic-ture.Thefilterinsertsaretobechangedafter200hoursrun-ning.

Ø Loosentheaircleanerfromthesupport.Ø Opentheaircleanerandpulloutthefilterinsert, cleanorchangeit.Ø Reinstallinreverseorder.

Filling opening COOLING SYSTEM

Thecoolingsystemconsistsoftheradiatoraswellastheradiatorfanandairoutletontherightsideofthemachine,thecirculationpumpandtemperatureregulatorinthemotorandcablesandchannels.Coolantholdingcapacityapprox.4litres.Whendeliveredfromthefactoryanti-freezingagentisadd-ed,makingitfreeze-proofdownto–35degreesC.Theabilityoftheanti-freezingagenttopreventrustdecreas-esaftersometimeofuse.Therefore,changethecoolantwithaddedanti-freezingagentonceayearatthebeginningofthecoldseason.

Makesurethatthecoolingsystemisgivenathoroughrinsebeforefillingupnewcoolantandanti-freezingagent.

CAUTION!The system works with overpressure. Therefore be careful when opening the radiator filler cap when the engine is warm. Let the overpressure “buzz off” before opening the cap. Otherwise your hands can get burn injuries.

The tension of the fan beltMakesurethatthefanbeltissufficientlytensioned.Forin-structionsseechapter“Electricalsystem”.

DrainageAdraincockforthesystemisinstalledontherearleft-handsideoftheradiator.

FillingOntheupperpartoftheradiatorisafillingopeningforthecoolant.Thesystemholdsapproximately4,0litres.

Theamountofcoolantissufficientwhentheliquidlevelis20mmbelowtheopening.

Checkthecoolantlevelandcleantheairinletontheenginecasingandthecellsoftheradiatordaily.

CAUTIONNever fill in cold coolant if the engine is warm.

Attention! When the engine starts running, the charging control lamp should not light any more. If the lamp lights while running the fan belt may not have the right tension.

BatteryThebatteryisplacedontherightinfrontoftheengine.Checkeveryweekthatthelevelofthebatteryliquidis10mmabovetheplates.Ifthelevelistoolowfillwithdistilledwater.Checkthatthecableclipsandconnectionpolesarecleaned,tightenedandgreased.Thechargingconditionofthebatteryistestedwiththeacidtester.Especiallyduringwintertimeitisveryimportantthatthebatterydoesnotgetdischargedasinthatcasetheelectrolytewillfreezeandthebatterybecomedestroyed.

CAUTION!Never use an open flame when filling liquid into the battery.

Disconnecting the batteryThegeneratorunitisextremelysensitivetofaultyconnec-tion.Thereforethefollowingmustbeobserved:

Donobreakthecircuitbetweenthegeneratorandbatterywhentheengineisrunning.Thiscandamagethegenerator.Loosenandinsulatethetwobatterycablespriortostartinganyworkonthegeneratorequipment.

Connecting the batteryOnnoaccountmustthebatteryterminalsbeconfused.Eachterminalisstampedwitha+anda–markrespectively.In-correctconnectionwillruinthegeneratorrectifier.Whenconnectingthebattery,alwaysconnecttheearthtermi-nallast.

Quick-chargingDonotuseaquick-chargingunitwhenthegeneratoriscon-nectedtothebattery.Thiswillruintherectifierdiodesofthegenerator.

Start with an auxiliary battery

Whenusingauxiliarybatteriesforstartingobservethefol-lowing:Makesurethattheauxiliarybatteryhasthesamevoltageasthestandardbatteryonthemachine.AllowthebatteryofTerritoremainconnected.ConnectviaastartercabletheauxiliarybatterytoTerri’sbatterywith+to+andconnectthenviatheothercabletheauxiliarybatterytoTer-ri’sbatterywith- to- .Whentheengineisrunningremovefirstthecablebetweenthe+polesandthereafterthecablebetweenthe–poles.

CAUTIONIf a charged battery is incorrectly connected to a discharged battery the batteries can blow up on account of surge.

Electric weldingWhencarryingoutelectricweldingonthemachineoronim-plementsconnectedtothemachine,disconnectbothbatterycables.Connectthereturncableoftheweldingsetascloselyaspossibletotheweldingpoint.

Headlamps adjustmentTheheadlampsarefastenedwithfourscrews,alsofunction-ingasadjustmentscrews.Ifthebottomscrewsarebackedoutthelightconeislowered.Ifforexamplethescrewsontheleftarescrewedhome,thelightconewillturntotheleft.

Thehydraulicsystem

GeneralThehydraulicequipmentplaysanimportantpartinthefunc-tionsofTerriandthereforeisregularserviceandmainte-nanceofgreatimportance.Thehydraulicsystemissensitivetoimpurities.Thereforeobservetheutmostcleanlinesswhenworkingonthehydraulicsystem,thisincludesfillingandchangeofoil.Thereforeneverloosenahoseoracoupling,onlyifitisabsolutelynecessary.Thesemeasurespreventfaultyfunctionanddamages.Dofollowtheinstructionsforchangingthefilterandtheoil.Repaironhydrauliccomponentsmustbecarriedoutbethestaffofanauthorisedserviceworkshop.

Oil coolerTheoilcoolerisplacedinfrontofthecoolingwaterradia-tor.Cleantheribsoftheradiatorregularly.

Hydraulic tapOnthevalveatthebacksideofthecabinisahydraulictapinstalledthatisusedbythegrabloaderetc.Thehydraulictapisequippedwithbayonetcouplings.Thepressurepipeofthetapisequippedwithareceptacle.Thereturnpipeofthetapisequippedwithaplug.

CAUTION!If the tap is not used the connection hose must always be hooked-up.Connected applications must have percolation for hydrau-lic oil.If there is no percolation the hydraulic hose will burst on the pressure side of the pump.

Tensioning the tracks of the tractorThetrackshavethe“righttension”iftheupperpartofthetrackonlyjusttouchestheotherbogiewheelwhilethemachineisstandingonaplanesurface.Movingtherearbogiewheeltensionsthetracks.Whenthestrainingscrewisscrewedhome(clockwise)thetrackistensioned.Lockthestrainingscrewwiththelockingnut.

Changing the tracks on the tractorØ Movethemachinesothattheseamofthetrackisin frontbetweenthedrivingaxleandthefrontbogiewheel.Ø Loosenthetracktensionasmuchaspossible.Ø Removethescrewsholdingthetrackfittings(3pieces) intheseam.Ø Blockupthemachinewithatrestletableorsimilar.Ø Removethetrackandmountthenewtrack.Ø Inordertofacilitatejoininguseastrap.

Attention! If wide winter tracks are mounted the broader rubber belt must be turned outwards; the track fittings must be turned so that the side of the fittings is pulling when one drives forward. See picture.

Attention! If the machine has no hydraulic pressure the brakes must be disengaged prior to towing.See page 36.

CAUTION!The purpose of the winch is to pull objects or the machine along the ground. The winch must not be used for lifting goods or people.

CAUTION!Prior to operating the winch make sure that the cable is not damaged. If the cable breaks under operation it can cause great damage.

This can damage the gearbox and the cable.Attention! The cable speed of the winch is lower that the high speed gear of the machine. See to it that the cable does not get under the machine or fasten in the bogie system of the machine.Attention!
