ruiser Luxury Fishing is the exten-ded form of the Acronym C.L.F.used by Ranieri International(brand of Motonautica F.lli Ranieri), to deno-te a boats family ideal for fishing along thecoast but also for using with the family formedium or long trips, depending on themodel . After C.L.F. 30 and the C.L.F. 25 thisyear two smaller versions arrive in range, theCLF 22 and 19, whose measures makethem trailer able and easy to handle also
with a small crew and with controlled power engines. TheC.L.F. 19 can easily be combined with a motor exemptfrom the obligations of the license, and we have tried itequipped with a Suzuki DF40A, a generous engine whosepower output actually remains always far from the 140 hor-ses for which the unit is certified as a maximum solution. The line is inspired by the bigger "brothers" and the lesscentimeters available penalize only the cabin and the cock-pit area, where you have access to fewer lockers andwhere there are no tanks for the fish and for the living fi-shes, but a good walk- to-use free surface (1.06 x 1.75 m)that can be used while fishing or where to stay for a rela-xing chat with friends or a lunch. Sun lovers can enjoy it bylying on cushions that can be positioned on the bow deck,or taking advantage of the space offered by the stern sofa.In the cockpit the available space is small and there is noclassic kitchen, while the seat of the driver is of flap typenot to clutter when not needed. The glass wall perimeteris partially sliding sideways and fully aft, through the adop-

tion of a double door made of aluminum. The sleeping areacan accommodate up to two people, but the solution isstill comfortable.
The testAmong the advantages of this vessel there isthe ease of management and direction, whether it is motorized with the maxi-mum homologated power (140 hp)or with the minimum. The Suzu-ki DF40A installed on the testmodel is the proof, as itallows, with a load of twopeople and about a quarter offuel, to get rather rapid plane
When it comes to building technologies andsecurity the size does not matter inMotonautica F.lli Ranieri yard, so even this"little cabin" enjoys the same care as thelarger models. Isophthalic and vinylesterresins, termanto for reinforcements, neopentyl gelcoat and the frameworkconsisting of longerons and floors
characterize the hull structure which benefitsfrom the H.I.S. patent. To keep the base pricelow, the standard equipment is essential. Forthose who want more comfort on board thereis a rich list of options and two “Pack” whichalready include most of the most popularaccessories for this purpose.

times (about 3.5 seconds) and to reach a maximum speedof 23 knots with the trim adjusted to 80 % of its maximumrun. This means that you can have fun without having tospend much either for the purchase of the engine, or forconsumption, that with this solution are decidedly low. TheH.I.S. hull confirms what has been widely experienced inother tests with Ranieri International hulls, which is an addi-tional support given by redan arranged in semi-centralposition that favors the separation of the watery flows andspeed, maintaining a high degree of stability both in turnand when passing on the wave. The height spaciousnessof the cabin favors the standing up guide (1.84 m) whilevisibility is always under control thanks to the glasses thatturn all around. The lower limit of plane has been recordedat around 10 knots with the engine at 4,000 rpm, while at19 knots and 5,500 rpm you navigate fluidly and consu-ming relatively little, enough to consider this result a "crui-sing speed". The setting of the drawning close comes in aprecise and safe manner on both sides and the return tothe original trajectory is rapid. Little perceptible is the roll
despite the decidedly limi-ted size. Despite its small size it is full of clever details which make it a real small yacht for inshore fishing.
