A Mercy Minute,

Step 10 is about living right with

God & others one day at a "me. Some

days we get it wrong and need to make

immediate amends or get wronged and

need to forgive. Each day & decision is

like a crossroads: We learn in recovery

that we never go back to where we were

but instead God will guide us forward

toward his plans & purpose. Jason Hass

will be sharing the CR Lesson

“Crossroads” this week - come to share,

for prayer, or to find where God is

guiding you next.

Blessings, Hardin

WHITEWATER WORSHIP Wow! We had another

blessed excursion to the

Ocoee this past weekend filled

with fellowship, faith

development, and FUN! First

off, thank you church for

suppor"ng all of our Youth

Events from these High

Adventure types to our

Worship, Discipleship, and

Mission Trips. A huge thanks

also to Dennis & Chandley

Hamm and Carrie Walden for

being drivers, cooks, and

chaperone’s extraordinaire.

We started our

adventure with a float down

the lower Ocoee in inner

tubes - it was fun but also a

reminder to appreciate the

quiet s"llness of God’s

Crea"on as well as HIS peaceful presence. However, peace was the last thing on our minds entering the Paintball

Arena! Again, lots of exhaus"ng fun but also an apprecia"on for teamwork, good communica"on, and health. I

am inspired by several of our students who were pre y scared but competed with courage and sa"sfac"on on

stepping out of their comfort zones. Our fireside devo"on was a reminder that just like the Disciples who were

frightened of a storm as Jesus slept in the bow of the boat...our faith may be messy but ul"mately we must call on

Christ. We were also reminded that just like Naaman who had to humble himself to dip 7 "mes in the murky

waters of the Jordan to receive God’s healing...our acts of obedience may get us muddy but we ul"mately must

obey to be complete. Messy faith and Muddy Obedience s"ll keeps us walking with Jesus.

Then - the full river! I

literally witnessed boat-fulls of

courage, joy, acceptance,

support, and

encouragement. Ra6ing has

such a spiritual correla"on to

listening to your guide who

knows the way, following

direc"on with faith & obedience,

and helping each other all along

the way. We all made it safe &

sound with enough glorious

memories to fill our hearts for a

long "me. Again, thank you

church, thank you parents, and

thank you most amazing &

courageous students!

Blessings, Hardin
