The Berkeley Group (TBG) is a student-led organization providing pro bono consulting services to nonprofits in the Bay Area. Sponsored by the ASUC and the Center for Nonprofit and Public Leadership, TBG has a strong track record of proven results. TBG works with individual social sector organizations to craft solutions to the vital challenges they face in today's society. Our mission and passion is to empower organizations with the knowledge and tools to maximize their social impact in the community. We have worked with over 75 nonprofits in the Bay Area. From startups to international organizations, healthcare to economic development, TBG is ready to help. responsibilities mandatory DeCal and trainings
We expect you to attend all DeCal sessions on Wednesdays from 6-7pm and trainings from 7-9pm.
2-semester commitment
We expect you to work with TBG for at least 2 semesters. Don’t worry, semesters abroad are not a problem.
weekly time commitment 1 hour: DeCal
2 hours: Wednesday trainings
2 hours: project team meetings
4-10 hours: independent research, client visits, benchmarking, etc.
Total: 10-14 hours every week
