The roles and responsibilities within my workplace

Example 1• Josh works as a Trainee Apprentice in a top

Chelsea based salon, his role is to assist the salon Stylists & Colour Specialists and to participate in training activities in the salon by booking in models weekly under the instructions of the Senior Stylist or Trainer.

• Josh is responsible for keeping the salon floor tidy and he follows instructions from all team members while assisting with the clients.

Example 2• Joanne is a Colour Technician who has recently

qualified in Hairdressing - Level 3• Joanne’s role is to provide colour services to

clients; she takes over clientele from the Cutting & Styling department of the salon.

• Joanne is responsible for maintaining a loyal clientele; it is important that the colour department has a full column of clients booked in for colour so Joanne is usually very busy
