Dear loyal Readers,

There are probably two reasons why you

have found yourself reading the pages

of The Event this week: a) because the

quality contents, full of exciting exclusives

were too much to resist, or b) because you

are using it as a little paper hat to shield

yourself from the torrential downpours we

have been having. Either way we don’t mind,

as long as it is a useful addition to your hectic

student lives.

This week the Concrete office is full of

broken umbrellas, soggy jumpers, and

chocolate wrappers. However, we haven’t

let the rain clouds dampen our spirits, and

this week’s issue is full to the brim with some

great ideas to fill your fortnight.

Enjoy!
