YEAR-END CONTRIBUTIONS

Per IRS regulations, we are required to inform all contributors of the law regarding year-end donations. If a donation is received by the church prior to midnight on December 31, it will be posted to the current year. Contributions mailed and postmarked December 31 will be counted in the current year. Anything received after December 31 and postmarked after that date will be counted in the New Year. Additionally, we ask that you not make any contributions for 2018 until after the New Year has begun.

Please always remember to indicate on your check if your donation is for any fund other than the budget. Other-wise it will be posted to the Operating Budget.

Do not file your 2017 Tax Return before you receive your Charitable Contributions Statement. You should receive these in the mail by January 27, 2018.

Campbell Box Top Collections

Please continue saving your Campbell box tops. The United Methodist Women sent 300 to Red Bird Mission, making a total of 900 for the year. You may turn these in to the church office or leave on the table in the grand hall.

What's cooking in the preschool playroom? You must come by and see what our little cooks are creating in our new kitchen!!!! A couple of months ago Bob and Carolyn Meacham gave a donation for a super kitchen set for the kids!! Now we have all new applianc-es and "food items" for the children!!! Many creative dishes are made right in this kitchen!!! Honoring the memory of Carolyn with this addition to the preschool room will be the joy and happiness of many children for years to come!!!!! Also, we needed a table for Lego play. Bob took one of our tables and added height to the legs so the kids could enjoy sitting and building with all of the Lego blocks!!! Some amazing towers and buildings have been constructed by the kids!!! Thanks, Mr. Bob!!!!!!

Christmas in the Chapel

For the Kids’ Sunday School Classes

Christmas in the Chapel was so much fun with all of the kids!!! Looking forward to this Sunday as we continue our Advent celebrations!! As a mission project for December with the kids, we will be collecting socks--any sizes--for Hope ministries!! We were so busy Sunday that I forgot to mention it to them !!!!

2018 Service in Ministry Sign up sheets have been placed in the Grand Hall so that you may sign up for the areas of ministry in which you would like to serve. Please stop by and register your service.
