LAY SERVANT SCHOOL Sign up for the Lay Servant School, scheduled for February 17th at Hernando UMC. this opportunity is sponsored by the Desoto Cluster but the faculty is from The Methodist Hospital! The classes that will be offered are: Avoid Burnout In Ministry, Living With Alzheimer's, Mental Health and the Opioid Epidemic, and Power To Forgive is Power to Heal.

ANYONE is welcome to attend, you just have to register by calling the district office. Even if you are not a part of the lay servant ministry in our district, feel free to attend.......... One of the best features of the day, is that it is FREE! All we ask is for a donation that day for your lunch........

Online Giving Ever get tired of writing checks, forgetting to bring your check to church on Sunday? We have just the solution! You can sign up to use online giving. You have the ability to set your donations up as a one-time gift or recurring gifts. You establish to amount and the date which you want the donation to draft from your account. You have the choice of using a debit or credit card, or draft from your checking account. Your transactions are safe and secure. This manner of giving is a way to insure that the church receives your donation even if you are out of town. Log onto the church’s website (www.senatobiafumc.org) and click on the link that says “Giving”. It will take you straight to the E-Giving site. Register your information and begin the process. It’s really easy. If you need any assistance, please call the church office.

2018 Service in Ministry Sign up sheets have been placed in the Grand Hall so that you may sign up for the areas of ministry in which you would like to serve. Please stop by and register your service.

Campbell Box Top Collections

Please continue saving your Campbell box tops. The United Methodist Women sent 300 to Red Bird Mission, making a total of 900 for the year. You may turn these in to the church office or leave on the table in the grand hall.

Have you ever heard of the Resurrection Eggs? If not, they are 12 plastic eggs in an egg carton. Each egg has in it a "story bit" about the story of Jesus from Palm Sunday to Resurrection. A story bit is something teachers use to remind students about a person or a story. In this case, the eggs have something in them as a reminder about Jesus' last week on Earth (ex. a spear to remind us that they pierced Jesus). Our plans are to gather items to make a carton for each child. Then on the evening of Palm Sunday--March 25th--we will complete the project. More info to follow about this special night later.

We need 100 egg cartons---Styrofoam ---not the corrugated kind. They need to have a flat inside top. Only 12 hole cartons. Please begin to save these and bring to Grand Hall. There will be a collection box there. Thank you for your help!!!!!!
