The ProcessThanks to our years of experience in the industry, we’ve been able to simplify the process of opening a new school. Our expertise in education and real estate help us to streamline steps for our franchisees. Here’s a quick look at the process of opening one of our franchises.

STEP 1: PRELIMINARY CONTACTThe first step is for us to make preliminary contact. You can click here to fill out a Request for More Information form to have one of our associates contact you, or you can give us a call at (305) 912-5521 ext. 1235. Upon making initial contact, we will schedule a preliminary phone or Skype conversation where we’ll be able to discuss the franchising process in greater detail. We’ll get to know you, provide you with further information about KLA Schools, and answer any questions that you may have. We’ll also provide you with the financial requirements for opening one of our franchises. If it seems like we’re a good match, we’ll move on to the next steps.

STEP 2: KLA FRANCHISE APPLICATIONFollowing our preliminary conversation, you will be provided with a KLA Schools Franchise Application. Upon completion, your application will be submitted to our Franchisee Selection Board Members for review and pre-approval. Factors such as your location interest, total investment amount and your financial resources, education, and experience, among other criteria, will be considered to determine if franchising with us is a good fit.

STEP 3: FRANCHISE DISCLOSURE DOCUMENTUpon receiving a copy of the Franchise Disclosure Document, you will be asked to sign the two receipt pages of the document. One of the pages will be retained for our records and the second page will be yours to keep. This receipt page shows that you have been disclosed, and that the fourteen-day waiting period to sign the franchise agreement and become a franchisee has begun.

STEP 4: FRANCHISE DISCLOSURE DOCUMENT REVIEWYou will have at least two weeks to carefully review the Franchise Disclosure Document. It’s a complex and highly detailed document, so working with legal counsel to review the document is recommended. We review each of the 23 FDD Items with you to ensure your understanding. It is important that you understand and agree to the provisions in the FDD prior to moving to the next steps in the Franchise Award process.

STEP 5: FRANCHISEE VALIDATION PROCESSHaving received and reviewed the FDD, will facilitate you speaking with current KLA Franchisees. STEP 7: BECOME A KLA FRANCHISEEIf we both make the decision to move forward, we will offer you a KLA Franchise followed by the preparation of the Franchise Agreement.
