Opportunities for an upgrade to Premium Economy ClassWith a valid ticket for Lufthansa Economy Class you have the opportunity to upgrade at all stages of your journey. Enjoy the benefits of Premium Economy Class on long-haul flights.

Go see your travel agent. To purchase an upgrade you will only pay the difference between the two ticket prices, because for the time being no rebooking charges apply. This also applies to tickets which otherwise could not be rebooked under the fare conditions.

Decide for yourself how much an upgrade is worth to you: make Lufthansa an offer up to 72 hours before departure and, with a bit of luck, you will receive the upgrade at your price.

Depending on the airport, you can get your upgrade at the ticket or check-in counter, at the baggage drop-off counter or at the gate – and pay a fixed price based on the route there and then.

An upgrade to Premium Economy Class is also still possible on board – speak to a flight attendant about it. You will pay a fixed price based on the route.
