The news in WA WA honours high achievers at the ACSA Aged Care Awards More than 200 guests gathered at the stunning Fraser’s, Kings Park on Friday 12 July to see the brightest stars in the aged care sector honoured at the ACSA Aged Care Awards (WA). The awards were emceed by Network Ten’s Narelda Jacobs, who brought warmth and personality to the evening. Guests were treated to a surprise performance by the Singing Waiters, a classical opera group covertly dressed at waiters serving entre. To end the formalities guests danced the night away to Perth DJ Ben Mac. All winners from the Aged Care Awards WA are in the running to win their category in the National Aged Care Awards which will be announced at the ACSA National Summit in Melbourne in October. The news in WA WA honours high achievers at the ACSA Aged Care Awards

More than 200 guests gathered at the stunning Fraser’s, Kings Park on Friday 12 July to see the brightest stars in the aged care sector honoured at the ACSA Aged Care Awards (WA). The awards were emceed by Network Ten’s Narelda Jacobs, who brought warmth and personality to the evening. Guests were treated to a surprise performance by the Singing Waiters, a classical opera group covertly dressed at waiters serving entre. Draft strategy to Respond to the Abuse of Older People The State Government’s draft Strategy to Respond to the Abuse of Older People (Elder Abuse) in Western Australia has been released for public comment. Elder abuse is defined as: … a single, or repeated act, or lack of appropriate action, occurring within any relationship where there is an expectation of trust which causes harm or distress to an older person.
