Being a 4-H Teen Leader at camp is one of the best summer
experiences you will have! To apply to be a camp TL for a
week and work with our 5th and 6th grade 4-H’ers request an
application by emailing Ms. Patty on January 18 or after.
Cloverleaf Camp at Rock Eagle: July 9-13, 2018
Applications due February 7th via email by 5pm.
If selected, cost for Teen Leaders: $182.50
(includes transportation; $100 deposit to ac-
cept after notification, and then final payment
and 4-H forms are due

Here are the requirements to apply to be on the 2018-2019 Board: 1) DPA portfolio turned into the Extension office January 2. 2) Request board
application from Ms. Patty via email by January 19. Read SR board details. 3) Email your completed DPA speech/discuss lab-performance with
Ms. Patty by February 2, by 5pm. 4) Submit your Senior Board application via email to the office by February 5 by 5pm. 5) Remember being
active in Georgia 4-H is beneficial to running for board—others 4-H’ers get to know who you are this way!

have a meeting on
Tuesday, January 16
at 7pm at the
Extension office. This is for new and returning
members. Our team is part of Project S.A.F.E.
- Shooting Awareness, Fun and Education.
If you are in the 7th –12th grade and want to
learn safe hunting and shooting methods as
well as meet new people, this may be a
great 4-H activity for you!
At the meeting the coaches will discuss
schedules including practices and
competitions as well as fees and equipment.

Attention all Northeast/Northwest District 9th-12th Grade 4-H Members—You are invited to the NE-NW District 4-H Senior Conference.
The NE/NW District Senior Boards are busy creating a weekend event that includes motivational speakers, college recruiters,
a semi-formal/formal dance, an outdoor after-dance party including inflatables, snacks and a lot of fun.
What: Senior Conference Who: All 9th-12th Grade NE & NW District 4-H’ers
When: Saturday & Sunday, April 7-8, 2018 Where: Rock Eagle 4-H Center
Cost: $75, includes registration, transportation from Paulding County, and insurance—due at time of registration,
final day to register is Monday, March 19 at 5 pm; limit 9 Senior 4-H’ers.
