PROFESSION CEREMONY - SECULAR FRANCISCANS - JUNE 9 The St. Pio Fraternity of the Third Order Secular Franciscans cordially invite you to attend the Profession Ceremony of Christine Bellaire and Lois Vester. These women have been studying for the past three years to become Secular Franciscans, and will make their final profession. Secular Franciscans are people who seek to follow Jesus by following the examples of St. Francis and St. Clare, who made Christ their inspiration and the centre of their lives.

The Profession Ceremony will take place on Sunday, June 9 at 4:00pm, at Holy Name of Jesus Church, followed by a celebration dinner which you are also invited to attend. We ask that if you plan to attend the dinner, you RSVP by calling Alana Pelc at 776-2192 or Susan Lariviere at 752-4754. Please keep Christine and Lois in your prayers as they prepare for this day.

THE FEAST OF PENTECOST - NEXT WEEKEND! On the day of Pentecost when the seven weeks of Easter had come to an end, Christ's Passover is fulfilled in the outpouring of the Holy Spirit, manifested, given, and communicated as a divine person: of his fullness, Christ, the Lord, pours out the Spirit in abundance. On that day, the Holy Trinity is fully revealed. By his coming, which never ceases, the Holy Spirit causes the world to enter into the "last days," the time of the Church, the Kingdom already inherited though not yet consummated. (From the Catechism of the Catholic Church 731-732)

Is God calling you to be a priest? You are not

alone.

“Trust in the Lord with all your heart… He will

direct your path.” (Proverbs 3:5-6)

Your prayers are strongest at the consecration at Holy Mass (at the raising of the

Host and Chalice). Each time we look at the Most Blessed Sacrament,

our place in Heaven is raised forever.
