WHAT IS A 'TRANSITIONAL' BUSINESS MODEL?

• This is not the core way that Youngevity does business• This is not the way that we recommend a new distributor be

brought on to this business• This is totally legal and an acceptable way to run your business, it is

just not very duplicatable• This is a very valid way of doing business for the established

workshop focused distributor

Page 6: The workshop business model

WHO WOULD USE THIS MODEL?• Anyone who holds a workshop with scrapbookers that like to have

the service of ordering products done for them• Anyone who plans to collect outside orders for customers to

deliver to them• Anyone who holds weekend retreats and needs to order raffles

and goody bag items• Anyone who plans to have an inventory for product to sell at a

tradeshow, booth or table at an event

Page 7: The workshop business model

CUSTOMER PROFILEThis model is perfect for the customer• Who is not computer literate and does NOT want to order online• Who does NOT order consistently or often• Who will NEVER add any team members

NOTE: This model works slightly different for digital but works as well

Page 8: The workshop business model

HOW DO I GET THE 30% COMMISSION?

1. You MUST have an active $100 Autoship on file

2. You MUST create a new Preferred Customer every 30 days if you hold a monthly event or as needed if events are less frequent

3. You CANNOT place more than $750 BV in orders per Preferred Customer

Page 9: The workshop business model

ORDERING CONSIDERATIONS

• Decide how you will charge shipping and deliver:• Use the flat rate of 8% and have all product delivered at one

time to one location for pick up• Charge shipping based on the total and direct ship to each

individual. Under $80 = $6.50 over $80 = 8%.• Collect payment in whatever forms you are comfortable with - you

can only pay with a credit or debit at checkout so if you collect cash or check you will have to pay on your card

Page 10: The workshop business model

ORDERING CONSIDERATIONS

• If you charge retail prices you will have to claim the difference in income and sales tax on your own - Youngevity will NOT provide you with this information

• We recommend charging them wholesale like they would get as your preferred customer and then you don't have to claim any income or tax info and you will still make the 30% commission

Page 11: The workshop business model

ORDERING PREPARATIONS

• Choose a name for your event (i.e. September Crop or Monthly Workshop #9)

• Go to your www.<youridhere>.my90forlife.com and choose Join at the top right• Do NOT log in as yourself

• Make sure you select Preferred Customer

• Fill in the first and last name as your event and complete the rest of the information including a site name.

Page 12: The workshop business model

ORDERING INSTRUCTIONS

• Print the paper order form and hand it out to customers to fill out and collect payment

• Go to back to your 90forlife site and login as if you were the preferred customer• Do NOT log in as yourself

• Scroll down to order and fill up the cart with the products ordered• Checkout with the shipping address as you decided previously• If ordering direct ship to multiple people, checkout multiple times

Page 13: The workshop business model

WHEN WILL I GET PAID?

• Quickstart Bonus is 30% of the total BV and is paid weekly• Quickstart is paid at 26% in the weekly check with the following 4%

paid in the monthly check to whomever has the order in their first level (i.e. if you move this preferred customer to another team member you would lose 4% of the 30%)

Page 14: The workshop business model

WHY NOT STAY WITH THIS MODEL FOREVER?• You can if you want to, just keep in mind the following:

• These customers DON"T count in your career plan advancements. They count in your volume and paycheck but not in your structure for rank advancement

• It is not duplicatable for new distributors

• It is not a model for growth - it is a maintenance model

• It does not allow your customers the shopping experience where they will likely spend more than they would at your event because they will add things to their cart when they are shopping alone.

• You have to work more hours to get paid the same amount of income

• If you want to run this type of business - GO FOR IT!

Page 15: The workshop business model

TRANSITIONING CUSTOMERS TO DISTRIBUTORS

• When would you want to transition a person from a 'preferred customer' that you order for to their own ordering as a distributor?• When they consistently spend $50 a month or more

• When they are consistently bringing you friends that are ordering - they could be earning a referral fee on each of these

Page 16: The workshop business model

WHAT ARE THE BENEFITS OF DOING THIS?

• Once they pay the $10 (one time for a lifetime membership) or once they join as a CEO• They count in your team/career plan

• They earn a referral fee and they enjoy the same discounts

• You still earn residual commission from their purchases and now have the bigger opportunity of earning commission from their friends (that you don't yet know) purchases too
