2014-2015 The Year in Review 3

We started the 2014-15 school year with a singular focus: to be Fit 4 the Cross. Based on 1 Timothy 4:7b-8, our annual theme served as a continual reminder throughout the year that we are to train ourselves for godliness through the power of the Spirit.

Just as an athlete in training has many obstacles to overcome, our school met with various challenges throughout this year; yet I can confidently say that God’s grace has been sufficient. Persevering through resistance is crucial to training, as it pro-duces strength and endurance within us. God is continually and faithfully doing a good work in this place.

As we enter a new school year, the TCS board and I are more committed than ever to providing an outstanding Christian education to the students entrusted to us. Beginning this year, juniors and seniors will have the opportunity to enroll in the Ac-cess Early College Program at West Virginia University, enabling them to earn college credit prior to receiving their high school diploma. Our sixth grade students will be using a Samsung Galaxy 4 10-inch tablet in all of their classes as we gradually

phase in a school-wide 1 to 1 device program. Once again, we will offer the Supported Instruction Program to our students.

We continue to finalize our Strategic Plan and our work towards ACSI accreditation. Trinity is a wonderful school, and the future looks bright. Thank you for your support and patience through the continued develop-ment of the school.

In His Service,

Kenneth R.T. Howard

For the moment all discipline seems painful rather than pleasant, but later it yields the peaceful fruit of righteousness to those who have been trained by it. Hebrews 12:11
