The City of North Van is hosting a public Open House on the MoodyvillePark Master Plan, TONIGHT November 9, from 5:00 pm - 7:30 pm at NorthShore Neighbourhood House. The Card ProjectYou will have received an email from your child's teacher if their class participated inThe Card Project. Orders must be submitted by November 12 for priority delivery onNovember 28. Orders received after November 12 (until November 27) will bedelivered on December 12.

To find your child's art, go to http://thecardproject.ca, click on "To Order," click on"use my school access code," enter code RW98, use the drop-down menu to findyour child's class, then enter your child's first name.

Poinsettias!This year's Grade 7 class is selling Poinsettiass ($12), Wreaths ($30), and HolidayPlanters ($30) as part of their annual fundraising. Details on the items for sale arehere. To order, go to munchalunch, log in, and click on the "Fundraising Open"tab. Orders can be picked up at Ridgeway at 2:50 p.m. on Thursday, December 1.Grade 7 fundraising goes to support two things: 1) their graduation celebrations, and2) a charitable or community cause of their choice. This year, they have chosen toraise funds to repair our school clock tower, restoring this historically significant pieceof our community!

Ridgeway PAC is hosting a Holiday CraftFair on Sunday November 20 from 11:00 a.m.- 2:00 p.m. in the school gym. This event isopen to everyone, so please tell your family,neighbours, and facebook friends. The fair willbe filled with unique arts, crafts, and bakedgoods for sale - not to mention a silent auction,kid's craft corner, and visit from Santa! Aside from coming on the 20th to shop, thereare a couple of other ways to be involved:

1. Volunteer an hour of your time on the 20th to help out. Shifts are availablefor set-up, and throughout the day to help with things like the kids craft corner,selling snacks, and just general help. Click here to see what's available.

2. Donate an item that you have made to the PAC "Made by RidgewayFamilies and Staff" table. This is a unique table for all you crafters out therewho make great stuff, but are not ready to run your own table! If you can knit ascarf, make a Christmas ornament, sew an apron, or whatever your crafty skill,we would love to have one of your items to sell, with all proceeds going to theschool. You can price your item yourself, or we'll do it for you. Please email usif you are interested in donating your hand-crafted item (and thank you!!).

Holiday Shopping? If you're buying it anyway, send a portion of your spend back to Ridgeway! All thesevendors support Ridgeway by giving a percentage of your spend back to the school.

A pink notice with instructions, links, and everything you need came home a fewdays ago, and you can also find a copy here. And why not send it to others who maywant to support the school - grandparents, neighbours, friends. Let's get paid fordoing what we do anyway!
