Category–Wide Search (C.W.S.) has several advantages over conventional search result methodologies
• Provides a big picture perspective of a category ‘s associations to one or more query words or phrases.
• At a glance , holistic search that is much more information intensive than the average search.
• Combines multiple search queries into one – is much faster than conventional search.
• Massive commercial potential.
• Fun and easy to use!
*C.W.S. is not appropriate for all search queries and is not intended to fully replace search engines such as Google or Yahoo search. However, it can be an very valuable add-on component to a search engine’s offering.

The commercial potential of Category Wide Search is immense
C.W.S. has broad popular appeal• A large portion of the population is very interested in celebrities and products they consume, where they go and who they associate with etc. CWS provides all this information quickly and is fun and easy to use.
C.W.S. will be very important to the advertising and marketing industries• Brands pay fortunes in marketing deals to be associated with the right personalities. CWS is all about associations, including between athletes, personalities, brands and businesses.
C.W.S. will be very disruptive to some existing web based businesses• The at a glance, instantaneous , information intensive aspect of C.W.S. provides immediate competition for billion dollar businesses such as WebMd. C.W.S. is faster and easier to use than such websites.
C.W.S. will generate plenty of media interest and free publicity• C.W.S. can report on public opinions that are great fodder for news stories. For example, searches such as for which adjectives are commonly associated with certain politicians.
C.W.S. will be very popular with the research community• C.W.S. is a great starting point for research projects. It can return search results that would be very time consuming or even impossible to generate via conventional search.
HOW IT WORKS – STEP BY STEP(Note: Just one embodiment of the invention is illustrated here)
User has been fatigued for several weeks now and is wondering what diseases might be associated with the
symptom “Fatigue”.
