**UNVEILING OF HISTORIC PORTRAIT** John Pinna the Town Historian gave a brief presentation about the portrait of James Pugh Kirkwood which was found by our Past Historian, Jean Murphy, and preserved locally by Silent Pictures in Arlington. Attached is a brief history about Mr. Kirkwood. Thank you to the Historic Commission for restoring a piece of the Towns History!! Motion to suspend the rules for comment on any town issue: J. Baisley/ M. Woolever Victor Chapland, Bethlehem Place speaks with the board with his neighbor for quite some time and submits photos about #14 & #16 which has been an ongoing problem for 10 years and they want this looked into again. View the video for the full story.. Doreen Tignanelli: She mentions that one of the comments tonight was that we need more apartments and she thinks what we need is more affordable apartments. She quotes that all the new ones being built are 1300-2500. She mentions pilots again and that she believes developers need to pay their share. She also brings up Steve Tinklemans Temporary CO’s and states that at least 31,000 is owed on these and wants to know what is going on with this. Jay states that we had sent out violations and are working on this. She mentioned it’s been close to a year. All these fees are tied to finishing the intersection as part of the site plan. She also mentions that maybe in the new Comprehensive Plan Update Project the Town should look at affordable housing in the Town and what we could be done to ease shortage of these types of housing. Jim Beretta: Couple more things about the Raymond Ave Project, and he brings up the Landing and the amount of EMS calls that they get. He says the Landing gets about one call a day. Fire Districts has no other way to get revenue except taxes-so he is very opposed to any pilot on Raymond Avenue School and he had some documents. Jay states these are just numbers that were bought forth and are not an accepted pilot. Negotiations have not started yet. He thinks they should pay their own taxes. Motion to resume the rules: J. (Including Cell Tower & Comp. Plan) Bill states they have RFPs for 6 companies to help with the Comprehension Plan and should most likely by September or so pick one. Also He mentioned that there are two grants that will help pay for this and thanks the planning staff for all they have done as well as Jay to make that possible

(Including Town Day) Ann mentions that while summer camp is done she is happy to report the the program is growing and they had 200 more camper than last year. Band concerts are over for this year and on September 1st they are getting ready to begin the installation of the bathroom at Greenvale Park and September 3rd they are going to begin the Overocker Park renovations

7. WATER, SEWER, HIGHWAY Carlos, Shershin, Woolever

(INFRASTRUCTURE) Bill mentions that last weekend he spent time down at the Transfer Station at the Highway Department and how the cars line up and our guys empty out their stuff in a minute or more with the line being all the way back to UNOS- He states its a significant amount of work they do. He mentions that there are two more Saturdays available-September 7th and September 21st. The hours are from 7:00 AM till 12:00 Noon and a complete list of acceptable items may be picked up at the Town Clerk’s Office or the Highway Department
