CULTURE AND ARTS STA. ROSA LAGUNA CELEBRATION OF BUWAN NG WIKA, BUWAN NG KASAYSAYAN

The chapter was invited by the culture and arts of Sta. Rosa, Laguna for the celebration of Buwan ng Wika, Buwan ng Kasaysayan held last August 28, 2017 at Activity Center, Solenad 3 Sta. MEETING WITH UAPSA – LAGUNA

The UAPSA – Laguna and Ar. Laddie Gallo held a meeting last September 4, 2017 at Tabelle Restaurant Calamba Laguna to orient them on their duties during the chapter induction. Attendees: Chapter President Ar. 3rd GENERAL MEMBERSHIP MEETING

The 3rd General Membership Meeting was held last September 6, 2017 at Shakey’s Paseo De Sta. Rosa, Sta. Rosa Laguna. The GMM was moved from 3rd Wednesday of the month to 1st Wednesday since there will be important matters to be announced before our big event, the 24th Chapter Induction and Turnover Ceremonies. There was no product presentation today because our assembly is supposedly Board Meeting that is opened to all members. Therefore, the main agenda in this meeting was about CPD seminars, chapter induction, joint area assembly, presentation of activity reports and steeltech playball invitational cup. All the members of our chapter had their own copies of handouts for the list of accredited CPD seminars. Our chapter is planning to have our own approved CPD seminar so that our members will not have a hard time travelling to have CPD points. Same information were given regarding the chapter induction wherein for the newly transferred members, they still need to submit a transfer form because without that, they are still considered members of their past chapters. On the other hand, the chapter discussed about the transportation and accommodation for the upcoming joint area assembly. The project “Bookload” was also presented to the members wherein we gathered PHP 7,000.00 cash donation from our members to help the children in Marawi. The 4th Steeltech playball invitational cup was also discussed to finalize the line-up of the players that will join the said activity. Lastly, there was a raffle wherein the prizes were Shakey’s supercard, Book about “Illustrated guide to R.A 9514 and Bluetooth speakers. **GMM was sponsored by Pacific Paints Boysen thru Mr. Marvin Pedriňa.
