natific AG ColorWarehouseUser Guide

The ColorWarehouse

Introduction

Real-time access to your color qualityThe ColorWarehouse allows you to compare the same color from multiple suppliers and to track color coordination and consistency for the first of production and all subsequent production lots. You and your supply chain partners can take immediate action on production that does not meet quality standards.

The system is also a valuable tool for dyeing operations. The dyeing facility can track performance by color, dyeing machine and fabric type. Trends in colors can be analyzed to inform the dye house on colors that may need process or dye formulation adjustments.

Evaluate the performance of each supplier using statistical analysis of production over a given time. This will help you to make an objective assessment of the supplier’s quality. Supplier ranking reports are available for a comparison of peers in the supply matrix.

This user manual is intended as a basic introduction into the ColorWarehouse features and functionality. Please feel free to explore and contact [email protected] should you have any questions.

ColorWarehouse The industry Standard in Production Monitoring

This instructional document reviews the color submission process using the QC software Datacolor Tools into the natific ColorWarehouse system.

Please contact natific with questions at [email protected]

ColorWarehouse Spectral Data Submission via Datacolor Tools

• In Datacolor Tools Select Screen Form

• Choose the Correct CAP Screen Form

• Open the Screen Form

70

ColorWarehouse Spectral Data Submission via Datacolor Tools

• Retrieve Std (Always Use the Master Digital Standard qtx)

71

A standard can be retrieved in 2 different ways:1. Retrieve the Master Digital standard from

the tools database2. Import the Master Digital Standard QTX file

ColorWarehouse Spectral Data Submission via Datacolor Tools

72

• Store Master Digital Std in the PVH Standard Folder in the Tools database

Note: • All samples loaded into the ColorWarehouse must be submitted using the official Master Digital Standard qtx

file unless the approved lab dip is an FSRR approval. • For production that is being run based on FSRR lab dip or FSRR first of production approval you must create a

digital standard by measuring the FSRR approval and using that as std for measurements submitted into the ColorWarehouse.

• Any FSRR exceptions used as standard in the ColorWarehouse must always be named using the Color Name and Color Code first and then have an indication that it is an FSRR.

• The Official Master Digital Standard must be used to assess all labdips, color standards or production lots in the ColorWarehouse unless the brand approves an FSRR for the color material combination.

Color Standards should always be saved using the retailer’s Official Color Standard name as indicated in the Master Digital Standard qtx file.

ColorWarehouseSpectral Data Submission via Datacolor Tools

• Measure the production sample(s) according to the brand specifications. (E.g. conditioning, avg. of 4 readings, 90° rotating and repositioning. You must use the correct spectro settings for the brand)

73

ColorWarehouseSpectral Data Submission via Datacolor Tools

• Fill out the custom fields (Custom fields vary according to the retailer)

• Update Store (save) the measured production sample in the Correct Brand ColorWarehouse Production folder.

74

ColorWarehouse Spectral Data Submission M3K

• Once the Master Digital Standard and production samples are stored M3K will upload the data based on the time interval set in M3K.

• It may take up to 24 hours for the first readings to appear in the ColorWarehouse since natific must do system configurations once your installation is completed.

• After the initial set-up and configuration, the full calculations for new submissions will be available for review about 15 minutes after the data is sent by M3K to the ColorWarehouse. After this time you can view your results in the ColorWarehouse.
