Rambler Ranch is a 165-acre estate owned by Terry Gale and Greg Kissinger. As a boy Terry’s favorite toys were cars and trucks. In 1988, he got his first full size car, his dads 1954 Nash Ambassador. During restoration efforts, finding parts to restore the Nash was not easy so Terry’s desire to save a part of family history changed to saving the history of Nash Motors. Rambler Ranch is now a museum dedicated to preserving the of the Nash-Kelvinator Corporation and American Motors Corporation (AMC). You will find Nash, Rambler, AMC, and other manufacturer vehicles from 1919-1988. There are also other brands of specialty cars in multiple buildings including Desoto Dodge, Chrysler, Imperial, Plymouth, Edsel, Ford, Lincoln, Mercury, Chevrolet, Corvair, GMC, Cadillac, Pontiac, Geo, Opal, International, Studebaker, Kaiser, Packard, Allstate, Checker, Yugo, Rolls Royce, Porsche, Wolsley, Fiat, Mercedes, BMW, Vauxhall, Jeep, Bricklin, Funwagon, Citroen, Mitsubishi, Acura and Honda. Make a breathtaking descent down an ancient canyon and equally exciting return trip. Drive through the historic silver mining mecca of Georgetown where impressive Victorian homes, buildings, and unique shops still exits. Continue on through the beautiful Rocky Mountains back to Lone Tree.

Forney Auto & Transportation Museum

The Forney Museum of Transportation is a one-of a kind collection of over 600 artifacts relating to historical transportation. It began 60 years ago with a single 1921 Kissel, but soon expanded to include vehicles of all kinds. Today it includes not just vehicles, but also buggies, motorcycles, steam locomotives, aircraft, carriage, rail equipment, fire apparatus, public transportation, sleighs, bicycles, toys and diecast models, vintage apparel and much, much more. The collection highlights include: Union Pacific “Big Boy” Steam Locomotive, Amelia Earhart’s 1923 Kissel “Gold Bug”, Forney Locomotive, Colorado & Southern Caboose, 1923 Hispano-Suiza, 1913-1953 Indian Motorcycle Collection, Denver & Rio Grande Dining Car, Stutz Fire Engine, 1888 Denver Cable Car, 1923 Case Steam Tractor, and a 1817 Draisenne Bicycle. The Forney Museum of Transportation is a non-profit organization which exists to collect, preserve, and exhibit items of artistic, historical and technological interest relating to transportation for the purposes of education and personal enrichment.

Denver Botanic Gardens Saturday - June 23, 2018

Experience the varied ecosystems of Colorado at the Denver Botanic Gardens, an oasis in the center of the Mile-High City and one of the first botanical gardens in the United States to focus on native plants. The 23-acre park, located in the Cheesman Park neighborhood, contains a conservatory, a variety of theme gardens and a sunken amphitheater, which hosts various concerts in the summer.

Denver Botanic Gardens features North America's largest collection of plants from cold temperate climates around the world, as well as seven diverse gardens that mostly include plants from Colorado and neighboring states.

The world's first Xeriscape Demonstration Garden was created at the gardens in 1986, and two years later its name was changed to Dryland Mesa. It was based on the "7 Principles" of Xeriscape, and includes drought-tolerant plants from the arid West and Mediterranean areas.
