Meet Our Instructors

Travis Oh

Travis is a student at the University of Hawaii at

Manoa studying to get his Secondary Education

Music degree. He has been a staff member of the

YMCA for six years as a lifeguard, and has spent the

past year building interest in water polo by running

clinics for participants of all ages.

Travis also swam competitively from the age of 7 until

graduating from high school. He was first introduced

to water polo in middle school and he loved the sport

so much he continued playing through high school. He

hopes to instill his passion for water polo in his

students.

Trevor Smith

Trevor is currently a Junior studying Pre-Education at

the University of Hawaii at Manoa. He has been a

Swim Instructor for the YMCA for over a year now and

has also been working to build interest in water polo

through our clinics.

Trevor has been playing water polo since the age of 10

through clubs, clinics, and youth leagues. He also

played competitively throughout high school but has

never lost the love for the game. He hopes to reach

out to his students and pass on all of the knowledge of

the game he has gained throughout his years of

playing.

Financial assistance is available for this

program. Please visit the Welcome Center for
