MUSTARD SEED: Thank you so much for the donations you have made to Mustard Seed. We have had an overwhelming amount of clothes donated recently and we are at our full capacity. We will not be accepting any donations until November 2nd.

KIDZVILLE is for children ages Nursery to 6th Grade

LITTLE BITS 2 & 3 Years Old: Will meet each Sunday morning during the 11 AM service in Room 100

KINDER CHURCH (4 and 5 years old, -Pre K and Kindergarten): Will meet each Sunday morning during the 11 AM service in Room 206

KIDZ CHURCH: Is a special service for children 1st-4th grade and will meet each Sunday during the 11 AM service in the Kidz Church room.

Hallelujah Night - Wednesday October 28th from 6:30 - 8:00PM: This night is filled with fun, food, carnival games and lots and lots of candy. This is a safe alternative to trick or treating! We will be collecting bags of candy until October 25th - bring your bags of individually wrapped candy to the church during office hours. Come out and support this night with your whole family. All kids may come dressed up in non-scary costumes. This is a great outreach for our church so please come out and meet new families. We also need volunteers to help with this night if you would like to help in any way please let Julie Batten know or call the church office 832-4511! Admission is 1 bag of candy per kid!

HNL Ministries is for 7th - 12th Grade Students HNL WEEKLY SCHEDULE Sunday Morning Connection Group: All students meet at 9:50 AM in the ROC Sunday Night Prayer at Zack’s House: will resume on Sunday, October 11th. WEDNESDAY, OCTOBER 14TH NO HNL: Please note that there will be no youth activities on Wednesday, October 14th due to the bonfire.

ENCORE MINISTRY: Encore First Monday is November 2nd at 10:30AM in the ROC. Our guest speaker is Jerry Joplin of the Lubbock Baptist Area Association. He will be sharing about the work the association is doing in our area. A meal will be served after the presentation at 11:30AM and is $7.00. Please purchase a meal ticket in your Connection group or from the church office by calling 832-4511.

TUESDAYS AT 8PM: We meet every week in The Loft at Gatsby’s Coffeehouse! Grab some coffee and meet us upstairs at 2610 Salem Avenue in Lubbock! NOVEMBER 3RD: Nate Harrison will be speaking and Kaymi Carson will be leading our worship.

   

You must realize that God loves you but you are separated from God by a sinful nature.

Roman 3:23 “For all have sinned and come short of the glory of God.”

You must believe that God sent His one and only Son, Jesus Christ as a payment for sin.

Romans 6:23 “For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.”

Although humanity through sin has separated itself from God, the sacrifice of Jesus, on the cross, bridged that gap.

Romans 5:8 “But God demonstrates His own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Jesus Christ died for us.”

All that God asks is that you repent (turn away) from your sins and accept the sacrifice that Jesus Christ made on the cross for those sins.

Romans 10:9 “That if you confess with your mouth, ‘Jesus is Lord,’ and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved.”

You can make your commitment by coming forward during the song of commitment after the sermon and visiting with one of our pastors or by placing the card in the offering plate and one of our pastors will contact you. You can become a member in the following ways: 1.  By accepting Jesus Christ in your heart as your personal Lord and Savior and being obedient to the Lord’s command to be Biblically baptized. Biblical baptism is a profession of faith in Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior, and is by immersion in order to symbolize the death, burial and resurrection of our Lord. 2.  By letter of recommendation from a church of like faith and order. 3.  By statement that you are a believer in Jesus Christ and have placed your faith in Him as Savior and Lord and have been obedient to a Biblical baptism.
