This is a very special edition of our newsletter. This month, I asked our young people to write down what they were thankful for. In the next few pages, you will get to read what they wrote. Truly, we all have a lot to be thankful for, and I wanted to take this opportunity to say a few things that I am thankful for. First of all, my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. He was the one who gave His life in my place so that I could live forever with Him. He is the one that watches over me every day, and provides everything that I need. I could never even begin to thank Him enough. Next, I am so thankful for my beautiful wife, Renee. She truly is a remarkable woman. She sacrifices so much so that I can follow after this calling that God has placed on my life. I would not be where I am today without her. I love you, Renee. Also, the two best children on this planet. God has truly blessed me with two of the most precious gifts that have ever been given. I am so proud of T.J. and Haley, and I love them both very much. I am so thankful to have had the opportunity to work for the Lord in two awesome churches…first at Duncan Church of God where I grew up and learned so much about the Lord, and then to come to Trinity Holiness Church and have the opportunity to work with such a great youth group. I am blessed beyond measure. I’m thankful for my parents who raised me in church, and taught me the right way to live. I’m thankful every day that I can get up and walk and do the things that I need to do on my own. Yes, I am truly blessed. May we all never forget how blessed we really are. Not just at Thanksgiving, but all year long.

Hannah Parker

I am thankful for so many things. For the animals that live on this earth, for the food on my table, the water we drink. I’m thankful for the way my parents raised me, for the clothes on my body, and for the world that God has created. I am thankful that I’m not a sinner because Jesus died on the cross for me and I’m thankful for my parents, my sister, and my dogs. I’m thankful for the money we have and for all the wonderful songs we sing, but most of all I am thankful for the love that God has for me.
