Nursery Open Morning

Paper-free from Summer Term

We are doing our bit for the environment, and trying to reduce the amount of letters and flyers that we send home with the children. After the Easter Holiday in April 2020 we shall be posting all our flyers and reminders on our Schudio App only.

Please make sure you have the App on your phone or tablet to keep upto date. Instructions on how to install the App are included at the back of the Newsletter.

A Big Thank-You

Well done to all our children who took part in the Sponsored PE session with Kristian Thomas before half term. The children have raised an amazing total of £1,319.56!!

This will be split between equipment for our school, GB athletes and para-Olympians.

Thanks to everyone who sponsored a child, they all had great fun on the day. We will keep you posted when we receive the new PE equipment.

Does your child turn 3 between 1st September 2019 and 31st August 2020?

If so, they will be eligible to start in our School Nursery in September 2020.

We are holding an Open Morning on Thursday 19th March at 10am for

parents and children to come and visit to meet the staff and look round the setting.

Marie Curie

Daffodil Appeal

Mrs Kapadia from Foxglove Class, is again

volunteering for the Marie Curie Daffodil appeal.

The School Office has a collection box and daffodil badges if you would like to donate.

Here is Mrs Kapadia in her special ‘daffodil collecting’

costume!

We will let you know how much she raises when the

appeal finishes.

World Book Day Menu

Please see our special World Book Day menu

Fire Safety Talk—Yr1

On the last day before the holiday, our Year One children had a visit from Warwickshire Fire Service.

They had a interactive presentation, learning about Fire Safety and then had chance to practice their ‘Stop, Drop, Roll’ technique. This is a simple fire safety

technique if clothes catch on fire.

Each child was given an activity mat to take home, reinforcing the key messages that were given during the session.
