Textbook Care
Your Library Record
Who’s Responsible?
For lost books For damaged covers and pagesFor items checked out to each student
You Are !
IDENTIFICATION
Each book has a unique barcode number. At check-out, that barcode number is
added to your Library Record. Write your name inside the front cover of
each textbook. There’s a special place just for that.
COVERS ARE IMPORTANT Brown paper bags work the best. They are free from the grocery store! Write you name on the outside. Don’t tape covers to the book itself.
BOOK SOCKS CAN CAUSE PROBLEMS
Often bend or break corners and spines.
Are difficult to find big enough. May cause damage charges. When in doubt, ask the library staff.
DON’T PAY FOR WHAT YOU DIDN’T DO !
September is the month to tell us about any problem with the condition of your textbooks.
See any damage notes that may be written inside the front cover.
We want to know about problems that are not already noted.
