TEAMS AND VOLUNTEERS

TEAM•WORK (noun)Cooperative or combined effort of a group of persons working together as a team for a common cause.

Starting or joining a team for the Race for the Cure is fun and effective. By working together you and your team can contribute to

Komen Idaho Montana’s mission. The funds raised by events like the Race for the Cure allow Komen Idaho Montana to provide vital

breast health services to uninsured and underinsured men and women in Idaho and Montana.

Please let Komen Idaho Montana know if your company would like to sponsor your Race team as we have “pay-later” options

available to cover registration fees online.

Please call or e-mail and we are happy to set this up 208.384.0013 | [email protected]

VOLUNTEERING WITH KOMEN IDAHO MONTANAVolunteers play a vital role in the Susan G. Komen® Idaho Montana's

mission. Their passion and commitment is what makes our Races

successful. Today, thanks to more than 100,000 survivors and

volunteers/activists, Susan G. Komen® is the world’s largest, most

progressive grassroots organization fighting breast cancer.

SO WHY VOLUNTEER...It’s fun. It’s rewarding. And you’ll meet some truly incredible people

when you volunteer for the Komen Race for the Cures. The success of

the Race depends heavily on the support we receive from hundreds

volunteers in the months leading up to the Race and on Race Day.

WAYS YOU CAN VOLUNTEER…Volunteer signs-ups will be available in the Spring for the Boise and

Helena Races and in the Fall for the Coeur d’Alene and Pocatello Races.

Positions will be posted on the Komen Idaho Montana website

www.komenidahomontana.org.

Please keep in mind that not all volunteers positions are on Race Day so

you can still volunteer and participate in Race for the Cure.

If you have questions about volunteering please do not hesitate

contacting Komen Idaho Montana at

208.384.0013 | [email protected]

VOLUNTEERSOur volunteers come in all sizes, shapes, and colors, but their hearts are

pink and their caring has no limit. Are you a leader, a thinker, or a doer?

Use your talents in our promise to save lives and end breast cancer

forever! We need you now more than ever. Volunteers provide countless

hours contributing their skills to further the Susan G. Komen® promise.

We will work with your availability. Every minute you spend helping

gives another minute of hope to those affected by breast cancer.

Program areas include:

• Development/Special Events

• Community Programs Advocacy

• Administrative
