for adults in the region

Norwegian Language and Civics for adult immigrants

• Courses Day and evening cources • Introduction programme for refugees – Norwegian language education on different

levels –Work experience – Various courses – Full time studies lasting up to 2 years – Participants receive a support benefit(wages

Primary and lower secondary education

• For ethnic Norwegians and for refugees who attend the introduction programme

• Subjects: – Norwegian – Mathematics – Social science – General science – English – Computer skills

Adults with special needs:

For people with special needs caused by: • Mental retardation • Mental health problems • Acquired brain injury • Visual/hearing difficulties • Reading/writing difficulties • General learning difficulties

Based on expert assessment from the educational and psychological service
