The activity of MVO

• Primary and lower secondary education • Norwegian language education for immigrants • Education / training for adults with special needs • Councelling services • Cources, seminars • MVO is a municipal service, but offers services

for adults in the region

• Courses Day and evening cources • Introduction programme for refugees – Norwegian language education on different

Primary and lower secondary education

• For ethnic Norwegians and for refugees who attend the introduction programme

• Subjects: – Norwegian – Mathematics – Social science – General science – English – Computer skills

For people with special needs caused by: • Mental retardation • Mental health problems • Acquired brain injury • Visual/hearing difficulties • Reading/writing difficulties • General learning difficulties

• Notebook is a program which can be used in many ways.

• Notebook gives the pupils the opportunity to learn in a tactile way.

• Notebook presents variation in the education.

• Notebook can also be used in a large class.
