During the hands-on, participants will learn how they set and use mic-roscope: key elements and function, adjusting and focusing the micros-cope. We show the dentist, assistant and patient positioning for optimum results. Treatment planing, veneer and crown preparation techniques, impression taking, temporary veneer/crown fabrication and its fixation will be discussed. Trial and precision check of indirect restoration, bonding and cementation of finalised veneer/crown, documentation and record storing are the key factors that we expound finally.

This course includes a short presentation and a practical part where the attendees prepare teeth, fix temporaries and use microscopes all the time.The guarantee for the strongest adhesion is the presence of enamel. This assures a long term result. Thanks to colorised monolithic zirconia, nowadays, we can be ultraconservative and save more tooth structure, by preparing teeth only in 0,5 mm thickness instead of 1,5 mm. Not all zirconias are the same, different preparation rules are needed for opaque and translucent ones. Today, adhesion on zirconia surface is possible, the

proper protocol will be discussed.We assist all the participants in setting up the microscope for maximum comfort. We show the correct position of the dentist, and let you know how you can find the most ergonomic and comfortable po-sition for maximum proficiency. We will demonstrate the complete workflow: how we prepare teeth for zirconia crowns, how we create and polish shoulder edge with magnification. All the cementation techniques will be discussed, and prefabricated temporary crowns will be fixed with dual cement.

This hands-on course is highly recommended for all dentists. “State of the art” protocols are essential for non-microscope users also.

The use of all-ceramic veneers represent a valid alternative to complete crown restorations. The minimally invasive tooth preparation procedure allows the maximum preservation of health tooth structure thus guaran-teeing vitality and higher overall resistance of restoration also thanks to the undeniable advantages offered by the adhesive cementation tech-nique. Nowadays a new clinical approach based on an innovative mini-mally invasive prosthetic procedure (MIPP) also applicable to full crown restorations allows preservation of vitality and tooth structure. The avail-ability of a wide range of ceramic material permits the achievement of

excellent, long lasting esthetic results mixed rehabilitation on implants. This prosthetic treatment workflow starts with an esthetic and functional plan which allows an ideal integration of esthetics, biological and functional requirements. The workshop will provide a hands-on opportunity: 1- To create a glide path with the reciprocating R-Pilot instrument. 2- To predictably and safe-ly shape curved and narrow canals with only one Reciproc instrument, used in reciprocation, and without any prior instrumentation. 3- To ap-preciate the cleaning efficacy of EDDY, a simple and an innovative sonic powered irrigation. 4- To effectively fill shaped and cleaned canals with a warm gutta-percha or with a simple Reciproc single cone cold obturation technique.
