A riddle is a type of poem that works a bit like a puzzle.
Riddles describe something and sometimes use words with a double meaning.

ArtOption 1:
Have an array of colours and a cotton bud for each colour.
Encourage children to make a rainbow using all the
colours.
They could use the primary colours to make secondary
colours.
They could use dots on the rainbow or use the cotton bud
as a mini paint brush.

Option 2:
Give children strips of coloured strips, show them how to fold the paper to create the rainbow.
Each piece will need to be smaller than the last in order to fit in the rainbow (you could even use a ruler
to measure each strip).Use the fold to create a rainbow
Ensure each piece is carefully glued to the paper.
