Principal’s Message
Dear all,
Since its inception Kalindi College has long been a source of attraction for students all over India. The college has a pool of immensely talented students who excel in almost all walks of life. Here at Kalindi we build a strong teaching - learning culture thereby encouraging students to become inquisitive and responsible future leaders.
Kalindi has a rich culture of pursuing excellence and has continually reinvented itself in terms of academic programs and research infrastructure. The students are exposed to a host of academic, sports and extracurricular activities on its vibrant and beautiful campus. The presence of great infrastructural facilities and a highly experienced teaching faculty ensures that our students realize their full potential. Kalindi has produced several distinguished alumni from politicians, economists, civil servants to people in the corporate world and is eager to produce more. At Kalindi College, students are valued as individuals whilst being encouraged to learn and grow together, building their confidence in a secure, exhilarating and contented environment. Our aim is to endorse a positive attitude towards learning and working, whilst respecting each other. This enables students to achieve their full potential. Our outstanding academic success has come through encouraging and developing high standards of numeracy and literacy in a well-balanced and broad curriculum and mode of training our students.
Our aim is to develop skills and knowledge and provide our students a broad and balanced exposure to education. We are a friendly, caring and nurturing team, ensuring the time the students spend with us is an enjoyable, positive experience which establishes the skills required to set them on their journey through education.
In 2016-2017, we have been found to be „Outstanding‟ across all areas and have been awarded an “A” Grade by the NAAC team. I take great pride in mentioning that Kalindi College won Second prize of Rupees 7 Lakhs and third prize of Rupees 5 Lakhs as “University Award of Good Practices” in Antardhvani-2013 and 2015 respectively.
The alumni of this college have occupied and are occupying various significant crown positions in India and abroad. Intelligence and contributions of our students are very significant in making a big impact on the success of our nation. We welcome you to the 2017-18 Campus
Placement at Kalindi College, University of
Delhi with great pride and enthusiasm. We
are proud to share with you that our
esteemed institution in its golden jubilee
year has been accredited with ‘A’ Grade by
the National Assessment and Accreditation
Council (NAAC). In our constant
endeavor to achieve greater heights, our
focus remains on holistic development of our
students, providing them a platform for
honing their soft skills, behavioral skills and
attitude through participation in various co-
curricular and extra-curricular activities. The
pedagogy adopted at Kalindi College follows
the Choice-based Credit Scheme (CBCS) of
University of Delhi. The syllabi for all courses
under CBCS has been crafted after due
diligence with focus and relevance to the
current trends as is evident in the
introduction of Skill Enhancement Courses
in all disciplines. Besides, the college offers
several add-on courses pertaining to foreign
languages and information technology.
The Alumni of Kalindi College are a
testimony to the strong foundation provided
by the institution which has enabled them to
prove their metal and reach positions of
eminence in their careers. Many of our
students are placed in top companies like
PWC, E&Y and banks such as American
Express, HDFC, Kotak Mahindra etc.

ABOUT THE COLLEGE
Kalindi College has come a long way through history. Established in 1967,
the college offers a nourishing environment to cater to the academic and psychological journey of curious young minds. Kalindi‟s motto- “ज्ञानं शीलं धर्मश्चैव भूषणं” meaning the real ornaments of humans are knowledge, modesty and sense of duty clearly reflects the virtue that every Kalindian carries with them. Supported by a combination of excellent infrastructure and highly qualified and competent teaching faculty; the college nurtures and grooms a number of highly enthusiastic and hardworking females each year.
The mission of the college is to maintain an inclusive teaching-learning environment and inculcate human values in its every student. It strives to enable students to be responsible at local, national and global level. It has always been aiming to provide information and skill based knowledge and to blend tradition with modernity and professionalism. The college has excellent infrastructure including spacious LCD-projector equipped classrooms, modern laboratories, a state-of-art multi- media journalism studio, a well stocked library, cyber centre, a sports utility centre, music room and a vibrant and lush green campus for other extracurricular activities.
The college holds a number of departmental fests and organizes national and international seminars and conferences where speakers of high eminence come to guide the students and widen their horizon of thinking. Our Recruitment Process The recruitment process at Kalindi is smooth and hassle-free. The
placement team is very productive and active. It presents the perfect mix of talent and efficiency to match the potential of students and interest of the company. The entire process is conducted under the overall supervision of the convener.
The companies are invited to recruit and capture the young and talented minds studying here during the placement season of the college which extends from December to April.
The companies have an option to conduct either a written test followed by group discussion and interview or to follow their own screening procedure. The college is backed by excellent infrastructure which makes the entire recruitment senza fastidi.
Further, the college also invites companies to take students for internship as per the convenience of students and the company. The internship season is functional during the entire academic session.
To make students tailor-fit for jobs; the cell conducts workshops, seminars and mock-group discussions and interviews from time to time. The cell understands that the company requires the best of talent and thus tries to cater to all it needs.
