Mr. Khavari received hi B.s. in civil engineering from niverity of Texa in 1979. He ha more than 30 year of experience in the deign and analyi of new and exiting lattice and tubular teel tructure. Mr. Khavari ha beeninvolved with reearch and full-cale teting of variou type of teel tranmiion tructure. He erve on the followingAsC Manual and standard Committee:

• Deign of Latticed steel Tranmiion structure: AsC standard 10-97• Deign of steel Tranmiion Pole structure: AsC standard 48-11• subtation structure Deign Guide: AsC Manual and eport on ngineering Practice No. 113• Deign of Guyed lectrical Tranmiion structure: AsC Manual and eport on ngineering Practice No. 91

In 1991, Mr. Khavari tarted AsC Inc., an engineering conulting company pecializing in the deign and analyi of variou type of tranmiion, communication, and ubtation tructure. In 1993, he tarted the North American PoleCorporation (NAPCO), a tubular teel manufacturing facility, from the ground up. NAPCO i a manufacturer of tubular

teel tructure. An iconic tructure manufactured by NAPCO i the famou moue head teel tower located at WaltDiney World in Orlando, Florida. In 1997, NAPCO wa old to Newmark Corp, which i now part of Valmont Indutrie.
