In addition, Engineer Stager will connect the 122 keys, 32 pedals, and 25 stops to the existing 750 metal and wooden pipes in the balcony chamber, Wow! In the words of Richard Merryman who is overseeing our organs restoration, this is all delicate, tedious and pain-staking work. During those weeks, our Baldwin Grand Piano will be the primary music ministry instrument for all Masses. Thank you for your patience with our Organ Restoration Project. THOUGHTS ON STEWARDSHIP

AS A WAY OF LIFE

“John answered them all, ‘I baptize you with water; but

he who is mightier than I is coming…he will baptize you

with the Holy Spirit... ’”

Luke 3: 16

The Catholic Catechism states that “Jesus’ immersion

in the water is a sign for all human beings of the need

to die to themselves to do God’s will.” In other words,

as baptized Catholics there is only one gift that we need

to give to Jesus – the gift of ourselves. Surrender

yourself to God, place your trust in Him and allow the

Holy Spirit to work through you for the greater glory of

God.

Stewardship Reflection January 13th “Jesus was led by the Spirit of God to the life of

preaching and service, to the giving of himself in

Sacrifice. Jesus Christ sends that same spirit upon

everyone who is baptized in his name. This is not a Spirit

of timidity of fear, but a bold Spirit of life, joy, and

grace.”

THANK YOU

As our Christmas season ends, I would like to sincerely

thank all of you for your active participation in Christmas

liturgies. Thank you also to all those who helped with

cleaning and decorating of our church, all the musicians,

soloists, choir, readers, ushers, children, altar servers, and

other ministers and volunteers young and old who so

graciously offered their talents and time to make our

Christmas Season enjoyable and spiritually nurturing.

Thank you for all your Christmas cards, presents of

different kinds, wishes and prayers for this joyous time

for thinking of me and my (visiting) mother during these
